Game Thread Dec 31, 2020 7:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Suns

The issue is that the Jazz have a handful of players, while solid, have too large of roles. Royce is the main example. He is a good role player, but no way should he be starting and getting so many minutes. He is maybe the 8th or 9th guy in most rotations, but is probably getting 5th or 6th guy...

Game Thread Dec 31, 2020 7:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Suns

We were reminded again tonight that we need some enforcers. It was nice having Crowder, Booker, Carroll (to some extent), etc. Who is the bad-*** that will be willing to throw down if needed?

    BOGIE

We were previously concerned about only having one big-tie scorer in Mitchell. But now we have Bogie, Clarkson, heck even Conley. So, scoring should not be a problem. Granted, it is only 4 games in the season; I would hope to have a little patience before freaking out.

    2020/21 Utah Jazz championship train

You better believe it, boyos. We haven't even unleashed the true Jordan.......Clarkson, yet.

Game Thread Dec 26, 2020: Jazz vs. Wolves

Looking at the bright side, the Jazz played terribly for most of the night and still had a shot at victory. This is still a really good team. Too bad, our hopes of a perfect season have been squashed. Well, I guess that we have to settle for 71-1.

    Don’t be jelly.

Ye Yep. I grabbed one about 2 years ago. Not bad.

Well, here's the first step to an undefeated season. In Faves we trust.

    Rate The Jazz Bench

Last year, we have one of the worst benches imaginable. This year it should be one of the best. It will be nice to have some depth.

Game Thread Dec 12, 2020: Jazz vs. Suns (Preseason)

Gobert and Azubuike could be like our Twin Towers, except with limited offense and all defense.

Game Thread Dec 12, 2020: Jazz vs. Suns (Preseason)

It's crazy how close we are to the regular season. It's going to be interested with teams having such a short turnaround. I honestly believe that the additional year of continuity of guys like Bogey, Conley, and Clarkson will going to really help. Our one free agent signing is also familiar...

The off-season strategies (Jazz have limited options)

I doubt that the Pacers will do it, but I really like the Gobert for Oladipo/Turner deal. Turner is one of the best young bigs in the league and can you imagine a Mitchell/Olapido backcourt?

Game Thread Aug 25, 2020: Jazz at Nuggets - Game 5

As has been mentioned, it didn't hurt that Murray went HAM down the stretch. Sometimes, there isn't much that you can do. At least, we only have to win 1 of the next 2. However, if we lose tomorrow, I don't like our chances in Game 7.

Quotes from Nuggets Forums Game 3-"I JUST GOT OFF WORK. WHAT THE F***?"

This one was so good: Warriors- That blowout was so bad I had to go to McDonald's to get some Nuggets of my own to feast on.

Game Thread Aug 21, 2020: Jazz vs. Nuggets - Game 3

Wow, it's been a long time since I have had this much fun having this team. The team chemistry is off the charts. I don't know if the Nuggets D is that bad or the Jazz now have the greatest offense of all-time. It is great to see the whole team produce and not just rely on Don's scoring.

Game Thread Aug 19, 2020: Jazz at Nuggets - Game 2

Wow. This win was so satisfying. Like someone previously said, the Nugglets actually shot very well from 3. Yet, we still destroyed them. It was nice to see the entire team contribute. I was concerned that they would be demoralized after the first game loss. Don was great in how efficient he...

    Conley leaves

Like many, I was a bit disappointed with Conley's contributions (or lack of) this season. However, he was starting to gel before he left, and we need as many additional pieces as possible. Hopefully, he can come back with a vengeance. If nothing else, he comes with experience in these situations.

    Jazz - Nuggets: Round 1

The guy that we need is already used to being a #2 option..... CJ McCollum. We can only dream.

Some way, some how. Beal would be fantastic.

It hurts that much more due to the loss.

    Jazz - Nuggets: Round 1

The good news is that we have definitely found the superstar guard that we have always wanted. The kind that should get superstar treatment from the refs in the future, as well. The worrisome news is that there truly is a lack of offensive help. I have no happy with Clarkson being so...
