love the guy, but nope. In my opinion Supermax is for players that totally transform your team, like a Lebron, or Giannis. Gobert is good, but he’s not going to throw up 15 blocks or 30 rebounds on any given night.
no one wants to trade either, chill dude. 99% of this board is what ifs and conjecture. This is merely chat. We all love both, no one is jumping ship. Except for all of those idiots that post every three weeks they are jumping ship.
We don’t have too much in trades assets rn. This isn’t ever going to happen but I’d keep Donovan, try to attract another star, and then sign like Steven Adams or possibly see what Myles Turner is worth.
Donovan is more of a players player, he would be someone that another star would want to play with. Gobert has a larger impact individually, but Donovan seems to be a better teammate, and seems to connect with the rest of the nba better.
Anyone care about Evan Fournier? Any thoughts on if he’d be a possible fit at SG (6’7”) in a sign and trade between him and Conley? Again, just trying to get some general thoughts out. General discussion is always insightful. I would picture our defense taking a hit, but then again 6’7” Fournier...
Wooah. I’m not decided one way or the other but I was thinking some more like a package based around bogie would be more reasonable. King’s are pinched for money, bogey gives them similar shooting and numbers while being locked in for 3 more years and plays at a position none of their young core...
Yes, the key to us winning a championship is trading for a 35/36 yr old Al Horford who simultaneous gets rid of all that useless salary we obviously don’t want and is a backup to one of the greatest centers in the league. This is the secret sauce. The Nets have your back on this one. I do too...
There’s no flipping way it costs us that much for Paul or Love. Conley is better rn over Love anyways, and despite his injuries I still feel like he’s healthier than love.
What would be cool would be to help facilitate a boogie to Wizards trade where we are able to get Beal or Otto but the pelicans are playing good so I don’t know if that would work, and maybe Washingtons owners are willing to put up the money for all 4 of them so it might not be an option...
I don’t think the Kings do that. They’ll have a really high draft pick this year with some new exciting young guys going in the draft this year and they already have their SG of the future in Buddy Heild.
Embiid played 31 games last year, Gobert played 81. Slaying people in 31 games doesn’t get you as far as playing really good for 81. I’m not down for that.
Is anyone down for Harrison Barnes?? Bleacher report had an article a while back where the hypothetical trade suggested would be Burks+Faves+ top ten protected first round pick for Harrison Barnes and I’m feeling down for it. How do you guys think he would fit play wise/culture wise/ contract...
