I am probably being too hard on Kanter. I would like him to succeed. I just have been hoping for more. When I think about Favors (3rd pick), I see potential greatness/all-star potential. When I think about Kanter (3rd pick), I see "serviceable big man."

"Enes Kanter looks more like a guy who is trying to latch onto a NBA roster than someone who was drafted 3rd overall here in Orlando so far."
The word "bust" keeps coming to mind. :(

"While the attention will be on Odom / Clippers / Mavericks aspect, that's a good deal for Jazz. Got needed help at PG without giving up much"
Brian T. Smith reporting that:
The Jazz officially announced Friday they have picked up veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley's team option for the 2012-13 season and tendered a qualifying offer to reserve forward Jeremy Evans.
Tinsley will compete with Devin Harris, Mo Williams and...
I agree, I think the Jazz are planning to play Harris and Williams together. I am not sure that I like the idea, but it is better than Harris and Raja!

The Jazz are holding their draft party this year just for pick #47? Doesn't make sense to me. They must have a first round pick in their pocket. What do you think?

I really think the Supreme Court got it wrong in this case. Riding definitely give him an unfair advantage. What do you think?
Faried will never be anywhere close to Charles Barkley. Faried is a less good Paul Millsap. Why would you give up on Kanter just to get Millsap Junior?
Here are my takes based on both expectations and performance.
Draft picks:
#3 – Enes Kanter - C (I was actually expecting more from Enes and am a bit worried about his athleticism. For the #3 pick, I had hoped for more.)
#12 – Alec Burks - A- (Very pleasantly suprised with Alec, better...
Bodhi, I basically agree with what you have said and appreciate your comments. The one issue that I would raise is that I don't see any of those four young guys as a star player (i.e. top twenty). My bet is that Favors will be the best of the bunch, but I think that to make a championship run...
What I was trying to say is that I don't want the Jazz experiement in Utah to end. I just like the titles about all the "experiments ending."
You don't like the "just kidding" phrase?
Just kidding. Even with how horrible things looked last night and how frustruated I get with the coaches and players, I am glad we have the Jazz. I have to remind myself that it is entertainment.
If the Jazz were not around, I would be stuck with rooting for the Utes BBall team! :(
My vote would be: Harris, Hayward, Millsap, Favors, and Jefferson for a big lineup; or Harris, Burks, Hayward, Millsap, Favors for a quick/athletic lineup. The players I want to have time include the above plus Watson, CJ, Evans, and Kanter.
