I'm not sure what you mean by "they", but almost every other player in the NBA has the complete opposite breakdown than Clarkson. Most players make a significantly higher percentage of shots when open vs guarded.

I think it's fine to hope for that, but not fair to expect it. Most likely WCJ plays a similar role as Sexton, bench scorer or guard you play next to another point/combo guard.

I just checked the box scores (this was their second game) and it looks like Koa Peat and Dybantsa have been scoring as well. They other guy that stands out in the box score is Jordan Smith Jr. He's had 8 stls and 4 blocks in their two games. Looks like he is a 2027 draft guy.
