Woo, that was a close one! Saw some good things including: best start, best total game from Lauri, re-emergence of Bryce, Juzang strokin it, just a nice groove early from everyone. Can’t wait for next year!
PS Hope that Flip is alright!
Go Purple and Gold!!! Lebron and AD are getting old, shoulda signed Reeves back when I thought Saint Cy was insane, and Knecht is just a badass! Plus I dealt to JJ back in the day when he was passing through - nice unassuming guy!
I gave you the stats, better ppg, better fgp, better ftp, better assts, better stls, better blks, better durability, and a whole helluva lot cheaper! If you can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you!!!
Dude, those advanced metrics have as much to do with the team as the player and Sexton is almost always the one directing traffic on a bad team.
Still .2 blocks compared to zero for Markannen. C’mon, the guy is seven feet tall for Pete’s sake!
That’s a weighty indictment but I’m afraid I’ll have to respectfully disagree. Sexton is one of the best and most durable and reliable players on the team. He wins games for us not loses them including the dagger against the Spurs. Without he and Collins we don’t win a single game this year...
Really? The guy we should have taken at #10 is starting for the Lakers, scored 27 points, sunk both free throws to seal the deal and is still 100% from the charity stripe!
A win tonight would be semi-inconspicuous since KD is out, but still signal to the Jazz faithful that next season, having beaten down another trade partner (OKC), that it’s on for reals!
That was a very satisfying win against the new “glamour” team. That team is built to compete now and we gave them a dose of humility. Props to all our Warriors, even Cody but mostly Colin and John with a strong shout out to Walker, Laurie, and Flip who always give 110%. I thought Collier was...
NBA Cup here we come! Not worried in the slightest about Cody either. The only aspect of his game that has been deficient is his outside shooting, his handle is solid, his defense is solid and he's totally solid playing in clutch time as well. Not a single turnover in the last two games; totally...
Worst team we’ve ever trotted out as I said before. When we signed an over the hill Paddy Mills to mentor our kiddy brigade, the writing was on the wall - TANK!
Dante was never really “that” terrible imo. He was made of glass (maybe still and I’ll always root for him). So far Cody does not appear to be made of glass. To my eye, he’s starting to fill out, and if he continues and stays healthy, that should make all the difference in his career arc I believe.
