There are no guarantees you won't be hit by a bus the next time you cross the street, but we can always hope that you don't. The likelihood that we get THE lottery pick we would all like is probably less than getting hit by the bus. I think we should try and win as much as possible and trust...
That is true, but if you look at what Rudy gave us at the same point in his career as Kesler is, Rudy was no where near as good as Kesler is. I'm interested to see where his progression ends up.
Even if we finished #30 there are no gaurantees we get the supposed fenom. From what I've seen of him, he's a heck of a player, but that frame he has IMHO is going to be injury prone.
It has been fun watching this very entertaining version of the jazz. i think things will get tougher as teams now have some scouting film and data on how the Jazz play as a team and strength and weaknesses of our players. I don't know how far this team can go but it looks like it might be a fun...
The Spurs didn't officially tank, they just kept a totally healthy Robinson (he was injured early in the season) out for a good month and a half at the end of the season even though he was practicing with the team.
I won't root for either team but I hope Minn takes a nose dive to the bottom of the NBA. Nothing at all against Rudy, he was always one of my favorites. The jazz need that pick to be as close to #1 as possible.
