Malone used to say something under his breath before each free throw, Horny would touch his brow, Bogey blows on his fingers, whatever it takes for a player to calm down and hit the throw is OK with me.
I like that we won but Memphis took the lead late and had a chance in the game. That leaves them feeling like they coulda shoulda so they won' be as desperate as they would have been with a solid beat down. The Jazz won't come into game 4 too overconfident after almost blowing game 3.
By rule, punching another player is suspendable offense. He certainly punched Mike. I suspect that unless the Jazz file a complaint, nothing will be said.
JC's 3s were still not dropping, but his play down the stretch with several saves and rebounds that gave the Jazz extra shots which helped them maintain the lead was outstanding.
We can't have Bogey and Clarkson dribbling the ball away on their drives. That killed us in the first game. I hope DM is on his game, but wether or not he is those types of TOs will absolutely kill us.
Seems to me that the Jazz have traditionally played poorly after several day layoffs. They seem to take 2 or 3 games to get their rythm back. Hopefully this won't be the case this time.
It seems to me that not playing him means he is still injured. I think it will take a minimum of 3 games to totally reintegrate players that have been out for an extensive time. This will be Conley's 3rd game back, so hopefully he will be back to normal. Mitchell if he is back next game will...
If the Jazz are indeed the best team in the NBA as their record shows, it shouldn't matter who our next opponent is. A post season of Lakers, Clippers, Suns and Brooklyn, Bring it on, I believe this team can beat them all.
