Our schedule--12 of next 14 at home

You are probably right on this, but neither happened. So the Jazz need to use this game-winner momentum, win against OKC, and take it one game at a time. It's hard to agree with your first point about chemistry. They may not be 100% and on the same page yet, but you have to admit that they are...

    Jazz@ Charlotte Bobcats 5PM MST 11/13/10 FS-UTAH

Seriously. I need to see a doctor. After these last few games I'm sure my blood pressure is way up. Way to rock the face of the East coast!

Predict Memo's Impact On The Jazz

Not sure what you meant by this. The Jazz don't have any 3-pt shooters? If that's the case, here is my rebuttal: This year D-will is at 35% or 12-34 and AK is at 61% or 11-18 from beyond the arc. I understand that it may be a little inflated because it's the beginning of the season (hence why...

Predict Memo's Impact On The Jazz

He will bring a positive confidence to the team when he steps on the floor simply based on two things: He knows the offense -and- he can stretch the defense with his perimiter shooting. Even if he doesn't play that well the first few games when he gets back, I think the team will respond well.

    Jazz@ Charlotte Bobcats 5PM MST 11/13/10 FS-UTAH

All of my predictions for this road trip have been incredibly wrong. I figured Jazz would lose this game. So.... Jazz win in a blowout.

Memo to players complaining about minutes: Shut Your Mouth!

10 bucks says Deron's comments are being taken out of context. My guess is it's a call out to Ronnie P and Watson to step up their game. It's tough to win championships without a solid backup PG to allow D to rest a bit during games. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Why is this team so much tougher?

I don't think you do. I guess the title of the thread is being interpreted differently. I'm saying this team is so much tougher *than other teams*. I'm not comparing this team to last year's Jazz team, which it sounds like is the common interpretation. In that case, we are now on the same page.

You can simply disagree. I don't care.

Why is this team so much tougher?

Read it again. If you were around the boards last year, all we ever heard about on this board were people complaining that Sloan didn't make good subs, called bad timeouts, etc. I'm saying that he is making good decisions this year that don't take away from the team's momentum, ability to win.

    Jazz @ Hawks | Friday November 12th @ 5pm

I don't see the Jazz losing this one, though it may be a tough game. In Miami, the bench gave the team a huge lift (other than Millsap, obviously) to bring the game in winnable range. In Orlando, the starters made that win possible. Most of the Jazz players have had a chance to gain huge...

    start Fes now !!!

The only problem is he hasn't learned how to defend well w/o fouling (or at least how to make it look that way). Fes starting would mean he would play for the first and last five minutes of the game. >HOWEVER< He has obviously made a significant impact on how this team and the opposing team...

Why is this team so much tougher?

I haven't seen anyone say it yet, so I will. Sloan. He has made great substitution decisions, timeout calls, and he knows when to bark at his players/refs. Did you see him in the final minutes of the 4th quarter against Miami? He didn't even look phased. That guy is cold as stone and...

    The real test

Really? You don't think playing from 20+ down in Miami against the "big 3" without Dwill and Jefferson in OT was the real test? I mean, every game is a test if you think of if it that way, but c'mon. The real test happened in Miami.
