the jazz will not win 30 games

I usually have high respect for Zulu's posts, but I think your way off man. This Jazz team will be competing for the 8th spot.... book it!

Bogut to Jazz talks have "opened up"

Yeah and those 8 other players are untouchable unless you take on one of their horrible expiring contracts.
  3. TheSilencer1313

    Buckner

    Gordan Giricek

    Warriors and Jazz Mega Trade

This. The SF position is the biggest position of need right now. To get Barnes by taking on a bad expiring contract is a steal for the Jazz long term.

    We're listening :-)

    Sign Dwight?

You'd probably win the championship in NBA 2k13..... but that's probably it.

Why are the Jazz wasting a roster spot on Marvin Williams?

This is what Jazzfanz also said about Kirilenko. The SF position is not an easy place to play in the Jazz offense. Hopefully Big Al off of the team helps Wet Bandit out here.

Al Jefferson is heading to Charlotte on three-year deal $41 million

This comment comes at a massive surprise.

    Warriors and Jazz Mega Trade

Agreed! Bogut is far from garbage, and just like Kirilenko if you manage the guys minutes and health correctly.... you have some very productive players from 20 minutes a game or lower.

    Jazz FA rumors

I'm down for taking on either of those guys for maybe a '15 second rounder. Nothing more..... Don't know if that would be allowed, but nothing more lol.
  11. TheSilencer1313

kirilenko is available, maybe boozer also

    I'd also hit it!!

Current Salary and Building Off of That.

I'll give you that Maynor is a good idea, but he also suffered a major injury in OKC so he's a little bit of a question mark. I also don't see Calderon as being too expensive for a team that had as much cap space as the Jazz do.

Current Salary and Building Off of That.

I like your list but..... CJ Watson over Calderon? Jose is just as good a shooter, a better passer and ball handler than all the guards you mentioned, and he is also starting caliber since we all know Burke isn't going to start yet.

Poll: From here on out - are you rooting for Jazz to Win or to Lose?

Things happen the way they happen, but a fan of any team should never hope for their team to lose. The spirit of any sport is in the competition.

    Free Agent Point Guards

Agreed. Burke will get minutes, but it'll be off of the bench. Deron "the allmighty" Williams also started his career off of the bench.

    Free Agent Point Guards

Calderon is still the best option to mentor Burke. I doubt Burke will be starting right off the bat, especially with Sloan as an advisor. Solid point guard, that happened to have a triple double last year while also working his way back to health.

kirilenko is available, maybe boozer also

    Quote of the year!
  18. TheSilencer1313

Randy Foye next year's starting PG

I don't see Burke starting right off the bat. I can see Calderon being signed to start the season.

    Undrafted Free Agents

Do you really think the Jazz will spend this little in the amount of money they have under the cap? Josh Smith? Mayo? Calderon? Webster? Kirilenko? There isn't even a true SF on your list other than Carroll.
