i expect to see Clayton outplay Bailey. There will be some growing pains early with Bailey, especially offensively with his shooting and shot selection. he's so young. where with Clayton's experience, the summer league world will be his oyster.
I hope he plays the same on defense and the boards and continues to be great on catch and shoot. Also part of basketball for scorers is taking tough shots - KD takes them, Lebron takes them, Kobe took them - so I hope he continues to make them when he takes them. There are also ways I hope he...
I watched both a lot and yeah, I think so. Tre’s teammates were offensively challenged but I thought they were a tougher defensive team. But both were pretty bad.
Such a great pick, especially on the heels of the Bailey pick. High risk/high reward with Bailey then they go with perhaps the best, most polished, NBA ready player in the draft.
same for me honestly. but he's still very young. everything people are saying about him is true. what you said here is true. i would just caution people against coming down too hard on a one and done after his second season as if that's who he will be in 2-4 years. guys get a lot better...
So, summer league starting lineup?
Collier
Clayton
Bailey
Williams
Flip
i have to assume they hold Hendricks out. i also wouldn't be surprised to see them limit how many games collier plays to get Clayton as many reps at PG as possible.
yeah, some of the comps are pretty optimistic, but he was so much better than Reddish in college. Reddish sucked *** at Duke and it shouldn't have surprised anybody that he was the same in the NBA.
i love clayton. so glad the jazz drafted him, but he won't start over collier, at least not immediately. more of a combo guard who needs to continue to develop his pg skills.
