Salt Lake City Summer League: July 5-8 @ Huntsman Center

i expect to see Clayton outplay Bailey. There will be some growing pains early with Bailey, especially offensively with his shooting and shot selection. he's so young. where with Clayton's experience, the summer league world will be his oyster.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

very weird fit here. jazz must be convinced he's that damn good.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

he can absolutely be a standout defender.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

jazz fans are going to love Ace Bailey. even the guys who are a little butthurt right now. he'll win them over.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

Hence the reason I acknowledged one way he needs to play different is to get more easy shots.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

I hope he plays the same on defense and the boards and continues to be great on catch and shoot. Also part of basketball for scorers is taking tough shots - KD takes them, Lebron takes them, Kobe took them - so I hope he continues to make them when he takes them. There are also ways I hope he...

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

I watched both a lot and yeah, I think so. Tre’s teammates were offensively challenged but I thought they were a tougher defensive team. But both were pretty bad.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

He wouldn’t have made it to 21.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

Such a great pick, especially on the heels of the Bailey pick. High risk/high reward with Bailey then they go with perhaps the best, most polished, NBA ready player in the draft.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

Non-issue. Bailey’s on/off numbers on offense and defense were elite. Not much he can do about how his crappy teammates play while he’s on the bench.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

same for me honestly. but he's still very young. everything people are saying about him is true. what you said here is true. i would just caution people against coming down too hard on a one and done after his second season as if that's who he will be in 2-4 years. guys get a lot better...

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

nah, he's still king. this was a one off, under sorta weird circumstances. impeccable source, but i won't get much if anything from him going forward.

kinda realizing i might be the only jazz fan who is still bullish on key.

So, summer league starting lineup? Collier Clayton Bailey Williams Flip i have to assume they hold Hendricks out. i also wouldn't be surprised to see them limit how many games collier plays to get Clayton as many reps at PG as possible.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

yeah, some of the comps are pretty optimistic, but he was so much better than Reddish in college. Reddish sucked *** at Duke and it shouldn't have surprised anybody that he was the same in the NBA.

that's funny. so glad we have hardy. players love him and he'll win both of them over quickly.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

i love clayton. so glad the jazz drafted him, but he won't start over collier, at least not immediately. more of a combo guard who needs to continue to develop his pg skills.

you don't give up THAT much unless you have pretty good intel that he was going to be gone.
