I think right now the 5th starter is between starting Hendricks at the 4, or Sensabaugh at the 2. I'm going with Sensabaugh.
Collier
Sensabaugh
Bailey
Markkanen
Kessler
That's what a stronger body and a now 7'2" wingspan will do for you. If he works really hard he literally has the potential to be able to play all 5 positions.
I originally said I thought he'd be out of the league in a few years. I change my opinion on that. He clearly put in a ton of work this offseason. He's also still really young and raw.
Overall he just looks smooth out there. They way he moves and his shot, it's just smooth. I think he finds a...
I go round and round with who I think the Jazz would start day 1 right now. Here’s my best guess. I’m sure it’s wrong. What do you guys think?
(I get that this is putting players in a box & that they will move around, but this is guessing the majority minutes positions.)
C) Walker Kessler, Kyle...
I’ve watched Fears. I also watched his game against Texas a&m where he literally scored 0 points.
I don’t care how dominant he was. I don’t want another small guard on the Jazz (6’5” wingspan) that can’t shoot from the outside.
If the Jazz really do like Fears & Kneuppel a lot, it makes all the sense in the world to trade with New Orleans down to #7.
They'd be guaranteed to get one Fears, Knueppel, Bailey, or Johnson (likely Fears).
Fears has a 6'5" wingspan (horrible) and shot 28% from the 3 last year. I'll be so bummed out if he's the pick.
He had also had a game last season against Texas A&M where he went 0-5 from the floor, had 0 points, and 3 assists. It's crazy to draft a guy at #5 that's capable of scoring 0 points...
You bring up some valid points, but there's just such an overall talent and ceiling discrepancy between Kon & Ace. There's just no way.
I can't pinpoint exactly where I've seen the Ace stuff, but I've seen comments made by media alluding to the fact that they do like him. Also, if Any & Sarah...
Because it’s a wrong idea. There’s been musings throughout the season and this whole process the Jazz have liked Ace.
In addition, Ainge has a proven track record of loving long, athletic, wings that can shoot and have all the physical tools.
I would bet my life there is 0 chance that if at #5...
