    Cody Williams = Dog Poo

I don't have issue with him being the 10th pick in a crap draft based on his size and position. With that said he doesn't have any dog in him at all. He needs to play more aggressive. Hopefully that can change a bit over the next few years. He has more NBA skills than Cam Reddish.

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

It seems a bit tinfoil hat but they could try to sign extend him to a MLE type extension next summer if they keep him at 18 mins off the bench. Obviously he wants to win so not sure he'd be down with it after such a blatant tanking season. Hardy has been really hard yanking him around moreso...

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

He was also a RFA coming off a fairly serious knee surgery and only played a handful of games that season. Unbelievably nobody had interest in Lauri the year before when he hit RFA which is how Cavs got him on that cheap contract.

0-3 looks very reachable. The hockey team also plays tonight. Duke, Rutgers, and Baylor getting ready to start their NCAA seasons next week.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I hope DJ Wagner plays up to his HS hype and revives his draft stock. Injuries jipped his Dad out of an NBA career. The Jazz don't really need another small scoring guard though.

Takes on the 1st and 2nd-year players....and progress if there happens to be any

Who would you have picked in the same slots the past 2 drafts? I'm not in the mood to defend Ainge but it's not like he passed on any major difference makers. A few nice prospects got picked just ahead of the Jazz picks. Jaquez and Podz both got drafted after Keyonte but in the big picture...

Takes on the 1st and 2nd-year players....and progress if there happens to be any

I see roleplayers but their highest pick was Hendricks at #9. The draft is such a crapshoot especially if you aren't picking in the top half of the lottery. Not to mention outside of Wemby there really weren't superstar ceiling talents available the last 2 years. Occasionally a Donovan...

    Are the Jazz Not Bad?

Cleveland and Minnesota but unfortunately neither looks to be anywhere near lottery tier this coming season. Jazz also need to finish Bottom 10 to keep their own FRP from conveying to OKC.

    Last 2 starting spots

Slow your roll, bruh. We don't know if Cody will be ready to go up against starters. We don't even know if Kessler is a long term fit.

Jazz sign Svi Mykhailiuk for 4 years, $15 mil

Yeah it's kinda hard to figure this one out. Hopefully there's a team option after 2 years?

    Lauri re-signs for 5 years 238 million

Fairly sure Ainge initially wanted Jarrett Allen but "settled" for Lauri. Lauri definitely became a must have in that trade especially as he was showing out for his National Team at that time. Sexton was more of a wildcard coming off fairly major knee surgery. Probably could've had Okoro...

What next moves do you WANT to see?

The way to limit his production is limit his minutes similar to what they were doing early in the season. Of course that will completely tank his value. Unfortunately there are a bunch of scoring guards who are probably available (Beal, Poole, Simons, Herro, Clarkson, DLo). When you consider...

What next moves do you WANT to see?

Indifferent on Ingram but his agent is apparently looking for a contract that starts north of $50 mil and will be eligible for a 5/$269 mil contract next offseason. His extension deadline already passed on June 30th. I don't think he's worth more than Lauri but some team such as the Spurs...

    Lauri re-signs for 5 years 238 million

He took the full $24 mil in season 1. Per the tweet he did leave a little on the table the final seasons though.

    2024 NBA Free Agency Thread

Yeah I mentioned that last preseason when everyone was still celebrating getting him for Rudy Gay. They are stuck with Collins for at least another season and as the highest paid player (until Lauri's extension) he's definitely getting minutes this coming season regardless if he starts or not...

    Conspiracy Theory Corner

Cavs are less than $10 mil under the luxury tax which is why they likely do not want Okoro to pick up his $11 mil Qualifying Offer. I can't see them going into the tax for Clarkson especially when they already have so many guards on their roster.

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

My guess is GMs won't be compelled to give their best offers until August 5th just ahead of when Jazz can R&E Lauri. Teams always seem to wait until the deadline in this league.

    Clarkson is Here to Stay

Ainge made 2 bad bets last summer with both JC's. Jazz were likely hoping they would be trade assets at the deadline or this offseason. In hindsight probably should've unloaded Clarkson at the '23 deadline as I'm guessing they could've gotten a few SRP's at that time. Maybe Ryan Smith had a...

    Does Sexton Get Traded?

My guy said this offseason could be an anomaly and we will likely see trades go down in August/September. Lauri is clogging up the situation for several teams but overall GM's are still digesting the CBA and new trade rules. There are players across the league that want to get traded off...
