My frontline can beat up your frontline - Why I'm giddy.

I love Davis but I'd even take our current over the Pels. Take Davis individually over any of ours but the set would, for me, go to the Jazz. Perfect balanced attack. Hayward decent D great O as facilitator/scorer. FAvors the perfectly balanced O/D power forward. Gobert the D beast (and if he...

Yes. Especially in situational moments when he shines like some of those early season inbound plays.

Matthews at 28 isn't bad. "Old" only by current Jazz standards :) Could still be solid when the rest peak in 2-3. Completely love what Jingles does with what Jingles has but "best" is so damn relative here it's like the best July day in Phoenix.

Stats can only go so far but pretty impressive for sure. By the way the quick follow up to this to show what a bump in guard performance would do, meaning some combination of Dante uses those freak genes to become Batman, Burke steps up his Assist% and D, Burks returns healthier then ever, we...

If I'm not mistaken BPM doesn't "include team performance" but rather adjusts for it. Trying to make it as apples to apples as possible for players on winning vs losing teams. BTW, at the game on Saturday I was ticked off with Rudy's block count - I had him for 5 by half quite clearly and...

Broncs - yeah, if I wasn't clear this wasn't best frontcourt this year (Memphis, Chicago, maybe Dallas in the running) but as overall value based on current and future potential - but still think we're not far behind My bad on not detailing the stats: VORP - The marginal value a player brings...

The TLDR: Our front line kicks *** and not just because we love them and the eyeball test is compelling. I'd take them objectively right now over any other in the league. --- I have only started a post once before, back around the time when PKM invited all the lurkers to give a wave (dude -...

    Poll: YOUR DREAMS for 2013-2014

Totally get that. Sorry, first poll (and thread) and didn't realize couldn't put more detail in answers until too late.

    Poll: YOUR DREAMS for 2013-2014

Thus far nice to see post history for member's lines up with the voting. At least you guys stick to your guns. Still early but looks like most are towards the extremes while losing flexibility (cap space for those voting for 6th spot, and more high quality pieces to play with for those voting...

    Poll: YOUR DREAMS for 2013-2014

Interesting to consider when the 6th would mean no flexibility for moves/trades when at luxury tax level.

    Poll: YOUR DREAMS for 2013-2014

I like to see how people view and hope for the future. There are many possible variants that could be added to the 4 I've put in the poll but this gives decent breadth without creating too many possibilities. This is a personnel poll not a coaching poll as I know coaching could be something...

For those Jazz fans that LURK here but don't post

Hi JF including all the (fun) nutcases on the board. Been a lurker for some time without a login. A jazz fan since the days when Dad would take me to watch the Golden Griff, Dantley, Eaton, Green, Kelley and the gang. Been along for a continuous ride ever since. I appreciate the personalities...
