Would agree with this. "Smaller side" sounds right. Not tiny, and his slight plus wingspan helps, but he falls short of the "positional size" mandate we are striving for. BTW - Indy and OKC are both great examples of the power of positional size.

Seeing more and more of Kon at #4. I suppose I'm higher on Kon that I was at season's end but Kon over Ace and/or Tre is just incredible to me. We're at the "overanalyzing and now we're just nitpicking" stage when it comes to Ace and Tre.

Great post. Though I'd nitpick a tad with the Tre / Herro comparison. Tre's length separates him from Herro in the "archetype" column, in my book.

Given the growing consensus of Ace being "risky" and teams preferring VJ, I'm not sure I (personally) see a ton of value in moving up to the #3. Certainly not at the expense of 1) taking on Paul George or 2) giving up Lauri. I'd just about give up the house to move up to #2. But if VJ goes 3 or...

This Bane return has me seriously puzzled. It’s a mind *****. If he’s worth FOUR FRPs in today’s trade market we should at minimum be heavily exploring trade offers for Kessler, Lauri, and/or both.

If everyone in the West is in “win now” mode, it kinda seems like we sell into that.

My only gripes on Fears is he's a tick small and the shooting will have to improve. He's a damn nice player, though. I've got him at #5 on my board and would love to have him if Ace / Tre go 3-4 in some order.

Carter Bryant as a green room guy cracks me up. I get him as a late 1st w/ the measurables, athleticism, great interviews etc. but my lord. Dude played 19mpg and averaged 6 points. And we’re not talking Corey Maggette / ‘99 Duke team here. He was the 6th man on a pretty “meh” AZ team.
