Cody Williams Hype and Appreciation Thread

We could eventually win a championship and in the post game thread there would be two or three dudes just exclusively bitching about Cody.

I mean have you seen a non-marquee ESPN college football broadcast? They are apparently very unconcerned about the quality of the product. Those cameras have to be 30 years old.

Not making what an NBA level trainer is though.

    2025 Off-Season Trade Ideas Thread

They still wouldn't have done the deal.I think they are planning their pivot off of Embiid. That deal for Lauri is still probably there if it was on draft day.

You can start with having your own trainer and nutritionist.

Game Thread Jul 14, 2025 06:30pm: Jazz Vs Spurs (Summer League)

Cody's biggest hurdle is his slight frame, which is probably the easiest thing for a player not named Andre Kirilenko to fix. He may not be a star, but he has tools.

Meh, I think Collier will be fine when he is put into his proper role. We are going to buy a point guard after that draft pick is secured anyway.

Dudes are worn out. This is going to be an ugly last two minutes.

Cody is a lot more aggressive since they hit him in the face.

I actually think Tre Johnson was rated pretty highly by the folks on this board for the most part and a large majority here would have wanted him if Ace was off the board, probably even over VJ. There were those weird Fears believers, but you would be hard pressed to find one now.

    How bad/good is Cody Williams?

Or, alternatively, the Jazz let go of two scouts right before they brought in Austin Ainge who made his own staffing decions.

    How bad/good is Cody Williams?

Honestly if there is ever a point where Cody gets good, we might lose half of the people who post on this board.

Yeah, they picked up an unprotected NO first and still nailed their pick. Must be nice.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I would have been happy with either. Kind of crazy that we had to choose. I think you have to go with the length and defensive upside of Ace, especially with the idea of what him and Hendricks together could unlock. Hendricks just has to pan out.

    Clayton or Collier?

To be fair, Conley's Hamstring was like 53 years old. I think he inherited it from his father.

This opinion was brought to you by Draft Kings. . .

    Clayton or Collier?

If we are being honest here, the first thing the Jazz do next year is use their pick on Peterson or use that trade exception on a point guard. Clayton and Collier are competing for the eventual backup slot and I feel both can easily get there, which makes me happy.
