You could tell Cody had a lot of nervousness and was rushing things offensively. I did like that there were times that he didn't settle for 3 and dribbled toward the basket. It looked like that was what he was instructed to do, however, and not his natural inclination.

He was really good on defense when not matched up on Bona. Cody has his spots for three and that last second shot was not near any of them. I think he was surprised to get the ball.
The biggest issue I see with Ace right now is that he has been coached exclusively as a wing. He doesn't seem to understand screens or the pick and roll at all. He's never needed either. So, unless the guards come and deliver the ball to him in his spot, he just kind if floats. Philly figured...
Bona might be the best Summer League center playing. He might not necessarily be the best center in summer league, but he is the best center FOR summer League by a mile.
I watched 4 Arizona games live this year. I never would have told you "That guy right there is the NBA player!"
I do understand investing in 3 and D players though.
The good thing is that none of the core Jazz youngsters looked overmatched by Summer League play. Doing well in Summer League isn't always an indicator of NBA success, but looking physically overmatched in Summer League is a pretty strong indicator.
