    Grade the Utah Jazz draft.

I'm not a college bball guy, but I mostly agree with this. Hendricks: B- - could develop into JJJ-lite, which is a useful player but not spectacular. Keyonte: D+/C- - I just really don't see it. Sensabaugh: A- - The shot making is already pretty incredible. Overall: C/C+

People are really underrating Rudy's screening and rim-running. That's offense, too, and it was a huge part of an elite Jazz offense.

    Ochai is Him

He needs to have more confidence in his foot speed and play up on his man on the perimeter a bit more. He leaves too much room on step backs, but rarely gets beat to the rim

Lauri Markkanen Hype & Appreciation Thread

I don't think Lauri has the skills to create offense (for himself and others) at that frequency. I've been really impressed with his cutting in particular, and the number of spots on the court he can score from effectively.

You're one of the dickheads who ran me off the site.

Atlanta didn't play yesterday. Otherwise, 100% agree. Great great win.

Kelly Olynyk Hype & Appreciation Thread

Olynyk makes it a lot easier to play Vando and THT. Should be good competition for the 20-ish backup 5 minutes.

Kelly Olynyk Hype & Appreciation Thread

He only averaged that in the 27 games he played for Houston. He averaged 13.5, 7 and 3 on the year (2020-21), all career bests.

    Juancho is gonecho

Outside of VanVleet (6'1'') and Trent (6'5''), their whole damn team is between 6'7'' and 6'9'' (among those most likely to get semi-regular minutes, assuming Malachi Flynn stays glued to the bench) Siakam (6'9'') Anunoby (6'7'') Barnes (6'9'': I guess they're good with Barnes playing guard...

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Yeah. If the Jazz also land Sexton at a reasonable price, could be semi-entertaining watching Sexton, Vanderbilt and Toppin losing chaotic, up-tempo games

    We should keep Malik Beasley

The Jazz currently have 5 rotation guards: DM, Conley, Clarkson, PatBev and Beasley. Unless you think you can play 3 of these guys at the same time, there are only 96 minutes to split among them. So...the Jazz pretty much have to trade or buy out at least one of their guards.

Also, this (which is the simpler, more generally true answer...).

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Apologies for singling out "conservatives"; even in "liberal" traditional media here in Canada, the narrative is frustratingly similar. Without diving into the socio-political/demographic reasons why--there are just lots of old folks who refuse to accept any responsibility for being anti-social...

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Oh boy...Despite how much cranky old folks and conservatives like to push this narrative, it's just not true. For those aged 16 to 24 years, the seasonally adjusted employment rate (employment-population ratio) bottomed out at 44.7% in June 2010. By February 2020, it had increased to 52.5%, and...

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

One issue is that the Jazz currently have 5 rotation guards in Mitchell, Conley, Clarkson, Beverley and Beasley (ignoring finding minutes for Butler). At least one of those pretty much has to be moved before the season starts.

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

So...I'm guessing you have no interest in responding to my point about scoring efficiency? Which was responding directly to one of your posts. Curry was a more efficient scorer than DM this year, and it wasn't particularly close.

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

So more goalpost shifting? Curry's a more efficient scorer, and a better team player on both sides of the ball.

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

TS% isn't perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than FG% as a scoring efficiency stat. Curry is in a different league than DM in terms of efficiency. Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Don is not worth nearly as much as Kawhi+PG or AD were when those trades were made. Not in the same ballpark.
