Alright think that’s me up again.
I’m going to take Mark Jackson. Make him play shooting guard. There’s only 5 guys on my team no expectations and no fights for minutes, but I bet he still splits that locker room into at least 3 factions.
Always felt like Collins got a bit of a bad rap. He was unathletic and slow and never did anything that showed up on a stat sheet or a highlight reel. Didn't chase blocks, didn't demand shots. His job was just to roll out there when the starters went out and play solid positional defense and...
TLDR: Chris Morris
Bit of a story for anyone that doesn't mind reading it.
Back in the mid -90s, my family got cable for the first time. Prior to that, I mostly would follow games on the radio. I was in my early teens, and this was the first time I really started watching basketball...
Yes, looks like he was accidentally skipped. I would say HornacekMania should be allowed to go now, if he wants Jamie Watson he should be able to take him. If not, no harm and we just continue from there.
I think its me.
Also think I need to get a center. Looks like most of the ones I had my eye on are off the board, so I'll take Greg Foster, who I don't remember hating, but I do remember feeling fairly stressed every time he was in.
Because I am just that nice
(If a guy played multiple positions, if Basketball Reference listed him as a PG or a C in at least one year he played for the Jazz, I put them in that category, since those two are the ones that are limiting. So that's why, for example, you see CJ Miles listed as a...
Ahh, Mo-be. Good times. I remember Locke one time saying he did a one-on-one drill with Ronnie Price, and Almond just couldn't do anything at all with him, Price just made him look completely out of his league.
Well at least Boler will be able to pronounce his name.
Over under on the number of times he says something to the effect of “Jazz have an Ace in the hole!” over the course of the season?
I'm actually not saying the pick is the most valuable asset because I think the Suns will be bad by the time it comes around and we will be able to use it to draft a good player. Its valuable as a trade asset because it doesn't convey for 6 years. The variance therefore contains a non-trivial...
Ah but that's the beauty of the draft. You can say that about every potential guy the Jazz could bring here. The draftees though don't get the leverage to make that kind of request for 5-6 years and everyone else can do it in 2-3.
