I'm feelin' you mang. This is now a team of disjointed incidentals, each lashing their flagella wildly about in an inchoate scramble toward the cervix, errr, basket.
Anyhoo, I do feel you.
Dunno about that. In a year or two Wemby is going to develop the magnetic pull that will draw a high B level star or two to sign with SA.
If Pops retires and they are also able to bring in one of his hot young proteges (cough cough) and SA could accelerate with haste.
Clarkson is like an Ex Wife to me - I treasure the good times he's shown us but I'm over him. That was my great disappointment of the trade deadline. I really wanted him moved.
We've had two team-eras featuring paired HOF players, assuming Rudy gets in and he will.
I'm curious to know how that stacks up against other franchises.
DA/RS' big picture strategy is now clear:
Allow your new young coach to work with his best tools before trade deadline. Let the team excel to their best potential to allow said coach to build a good reputation in the league and get the fans good and lathered up in support. Sell fanwear...
We lucked into one in '17 and he (on the hush hush) forced his way out. Getting two of them in the 80's who actually wanted to spend their careers here was a gift that probably will never be repeated.
Odds that we'll draft another who will want to stay long enough to build a team around them...
I voted never. We are too unempowered on the FA acquisition landscape to make it happen.
As Colin Cowherd said 8 or so years ago "the NBA doesn't have an equity problem (small vs big markets) - it has real estate problem"
I'm so glad SLC has had a franchise all these years, but we are an...
Teams were already beating the hell out of him. Now with reduced spacing that will just get worse. I'd expect to see his attitude toward this franchise change in time for a 2024 trade. OKC really would be the ideal fit for him - and their offerings perfect for us.
Walker needs to grow a bit of a snarl as a man to be an excellent NBA big. He's the pleasant whyte boi on the court that intimidates no one.
No kiddie tours this Summer. Have him work with a martial arts trainer who bloodies his nose a couple times and pisses him off. He needs an...
For the 2nd year in a row, the post-ASG Jazz are the fan experience of watching the Hornets.
I was excited at the prospect of mercurial JC being traded but instead we lost KO and Fonteccio.
I get the strategy but still feel gutted of enthusiasm to root for this bunch going forward.
