Jazz vs Pistons tonight 7pm MST

Wow, nervous fans here... Look the NBA isn't an easy business. After the All star break last year, for 30 games all was rosy for this team. This year it's hard, there are injuries (let's all remember Exum as well), they are better scouted by opposing teams, etc.. it's not easy. It's a growth...

Why Hayward is not an all start/subscript: his limitations

Bah.. Hayward is a good player, a fringe all star but not a big star. he is one of those players who ranks somewhere between 20 and 60 in the NBA : could be the leader of a bad team or a good leutenant in a good one. Nothing wrong about that ?

Vucevic Calls Out Gobert on Twitter: "like a real man would"

All fun and games, I loved the diss at his friend Fournier's receding hair that he desperatly tries to cover with ponytails and such... That instagram pic is also interesting as it shows the growing trend of NBA internationalisation : Vucevic, Fournier, Gobert and Neto hanging around, not an...

Human Turd: Gordon Hayward Needs a Change of Scenery

Of course Hayward isn't a first option on a succesfull team. He is a better Nic Batum or Luol Deng, put him along a real star or as part of a competitive tight unit and he is worth all the money he is paid. Expect him to carry your team an you'll get burnt. Nothing surprising in there. Well of...

Utah Jazz VS LA Lakers, Sunday, Jan. 10th @ 7:30pm

Having Gobert back helps the D so much.. it's not even funny. I am not saying I want Favors to sill be out for a while, but if we had Burks and Hood but no Favors we could experience with 4-1 lineups with Gobert as a lone big and Hayward playing the 4 at times to stretch the floor.

Gobert Injured in Practice: Grade II Sprained MCL

very true. The team has to make the best out of it, try to learn new things, test different things out, and Rudy can refresh and work in the meantime so that he is super duper fresh for the home stretch.

    Ty Lawson, Anyone?

No, Ty Lawson has big problems he first needs to sort out.

    Neto's shooting

This is just not true. Simply not true. every measuring stick rates Exum's first season as fantastic on D but very poor to poor on O. That's the fact. Forgetting one side of the ball is easy. If we measured Gobert's ability at how well he shoots, he'd be out to de DLeague.

    Quotes from W's forums

Fans should beware of getting their hopes up to high. I love Gobert and hope he becomes better, but it is possible that never becomes quite strong enough to really be efficient in traffic. It happens. he is miles better already than an Asik for example who never quite improved in the hand...

    Quotes from W's forums

Have you considered the fact that has been extensively scouted during the summer ? that teams now know what not to do when is there on D? He still has a gigantic impact on D because of how long and well placed he is on the court, but opposing teams find ways to avoid being blocked, which is sort...

Game Thread: BREAK THE STREAK - Warriors @ Jazz - Nov 30 - 7 PM MST

But a very talented douche... And sports need douches. Nothing more boring than competitive sports being treated like going to the office and back. Gimme more douches, more spice. I love Tim Duncan to bits, but if the NBA was inhabited only by this kind of guy, it'd be zombieland.

Kobe Bryant's Final Career Game will be VS the Jazz

Jordan, Kareem,Russel, Wilt, Duncan, Shaq and Lebron, sure.. I would add Bird and Magic and Hakeem personnally and then there is the issue of the Pre-Lebron, Big O...so that would put him just outside the top 10. Still the best SG after MJ by a wide margin though, so he gets into that "second...

    What happened to Gobert???

hand strength is a real issue, but solvable to some extent, Going strong and just clasping that ball hard is something he can work on. Becoming significantly stronger generally will be hard. He can't really gain girth, he is not a bulky or lowerbody strong type of guy, and will probably never...

    Game #14 Utah Jazz @ L.A. Clippers -- Wed. Nov. 25th @ 8:30pm MST

yep, no one is saying he should play like that everygame. but a game of similarish caliber (not necessarily as good) every 5/6 games is what gives you 5/6 extra wins a the end of the season, takes you to the playoffs, and once there, being able to elevate again to play like this every 2/3 games...

Would you trade Favors or Gobert for #1 pick Ben Simmons

I don't want to be rude, but : 1/ This question is silly, no one trades a #1 pick barring exceptional circumstances (such as having to make Lebron come back home by promising an experienced star/sidekicko to win now). And that's it, no need to go further.

    Game #14 Utah Jazz @ L.A. Clippers -- Wed. Nov. 25th @ 8:30pm MST

It seems to me that he has a little bit less hops (maybe the ankle still bothering him a bit ?) but mainly that he is defending more "à la Duncan" ie altering shots enough to intimidate the O without compromising his position by going full on for the block. I might be wrong though. And the...

Game #13 Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz Monday 23 Nov 2015 @ 7:00pm Mtn (Early bird GT)

Guys need to chill... some of the difficults Rudy is having are a bit like hitting the rookie wall for a top pick : he spent a year and half not playing that much and has been playing 35 mins a night since february and had a summer chock full with his national team. He is still a defensive force...
