Cody shot 4/13 on his 3PAs (31%) and averaged 11.6 ppg with 1.7 stocks. I'm hoping he can make 33% this year.
Incidentally, Flip also shot 4/13 on 3PAs in SLC SL.
Walter Clayton's shooting looks to be translating. He's knockdown once he finds his rhythm. He started 1/6 last night, then made 3/4, including a pretty clutch 3ball late.
He was 7/19 (37%) in the 3 games.
Flip's added strength is allowing him to be more aggressive. It's showing up in his rebounding and some inside scoring. He's not trying to finesse things as much.
He averaged 17/12 over the three games he played.
Cody seems to have an off-switch, where he just goes through the motions and doesn't seem to care about anything. The difference in how engaged he was in the 2nd game vs. the 3rd game was pretty stark. It might be a confidence thing, where if he misses a few shots he backs off.
The good news is...
I think Springer is mostly a practice player. He's an NBA athlete and tough defender for guys to go against in practice. It looks like he's under contract this year for $2M.
