If we pick up 1st round picks by taking on additional salary then it is as if we traded these guys for first round picks. If so, these moves make way more sense. If we dont, I am still highly disappointed in the returns.

Most players in the league with less of a high release point dont get their shots off frequently enough without pressure and therefore they arent in the league. Steph is an accepting to the norm. If I was in the league, I would have so many shots blocked... A high release makes it nearly...

Ace looked like he has the power, length, size, tools, spring, and creativity to be an all star. He also looked like an 18 year old. VJ looked like a more experienced player that does a lot, competes, scores, hustles, but he didnt look like he had near as many tools.

WCJ reminds me a ton of Derrick White. A smaller version, but he can play.

Honestly I expected a bigger free agency / trade season for a lot of teams. It has been a bit lethargic across the board. Plenty of time left i guess.

It is shocking how much teams dont value guys after a tanking season. I would have thought these guys had more value but it really feels like the league has a very short memory when it comes to evaluations. If a player has an off year they go in the garbage pile I guess.

With all sorts of teams going all in on 2025, Lauri clearly should be more valued than the market is showing. If the market disagrees, then be patient.

If we dont get a Bane-like offer for Lauri then I trust we can recoup his value between now and the trade deadline/next offseason. I believe in Lauri the player and person even if others dont. He is a great asset and recouping his value won't take much more than letting the guy compete.

Juzang was a plus defender that couldn't score. Then he was a plus scorer that struggled defensively. I think he puts it together next year and he is cheap for 2 additional seasons. Harkless had good moments. I think Tonje is a stars player until proven otherwise. Martin for me was a meh...

Its a moot point now. Sexton and trash for Simons feels like a winning move at this point. Simons would hurt the tank whereas Nurkic only helps.
