He was pretty damn good at the end of last year. It's OK to like Brice.

Flip is great, firmly ensconced in his limited role. He's exactly not the guy for the iso at the end on the quarter.

Keyonte tore up summer league last year when he played.

He didn't play in Summer League as a rookie, I don't think.

So that blonde preppy guy isn't going to actually get in the game for the Jazz, right?

I wonder if Ryan was allowed to design these Jazz warm ups. If so, he should have led with that during the rebrand.

NBA Summer League Wild Overreaction Thread

The difference in athleticism of surgery repaired Topic over Kas is startling. That is not to say that Topic is very athletic. . .

Which Jazz player are you most excited about this season?

Every damn time. Why can't we have nice things?

NBA Summer League Wild Overreaction Thread

OK, we need a thread to talk about what we are seeing from the players we argued about for a year. I'll start. All of the stuff said about Kas not being able to get his shot off against NBA talent is absolutely true. Dude couldn't shake anyone in his first Summer League game.

What Do You Think The Kessler Extension Would Look Like?

Except now the new CBA mandates that you have a pretty high salary floor which makes it almost impossible to rent space like OKC did in years past. Many of the ways teams have built in the past are off the table going forward. I suspect it will look more like what the Knicks and the Pacers did...

Which Jazz player are you most excited about this season?

Tonje is going to wreck some fools in Summer League and make the final roster in October, and not just as Stars fodder.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Houston tried to put him in the Durrant trade to Phoenix. Phoenix was all "what kind of second round picks you got instead?" Just brutal. . . https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-intel-free-agency-deandre-ayton-malik-beasley-myles-turner-nickeil-alexander-walker-trades/

What Do You Think The Kessler Extension Would Look Like?

It would seem to reason that if everyone is stocking up on stud wings, it might be useful to have someone to keep them off the rim. Kessler makes the game easier for all the other players on the team, which is why we sat him when we got serious about losing. No other player on the Jazz currently...

Keyonte George Hype & Appreciation Thread

Keyonte and Carter were picked at 16 and 18, EXACTLY where you pick players of their type. We just moved 2 combo guards and added 1. I still think they are going to try to run Carter at the point.
