in Wasserman's Bleacher Report updated mock draft he published this morning. He has Whitmore sliding to the Jazz at 9 and the reason is "medical concerns"

I'm curious about Wasserman's comment that Whitmore is likely to slide because of medical concerns. Has anyone seen what may that could be referring to? Is it lingering problems with his thumb from early last season? Something else?

My current thinking: Plan A = trade up to #5 to nab Whitmore if the price were right (no more than one unprotected pick to swap 5 for 9). Then take Bufkin/JHS/George at 16, then a flier on high upside / high risk at 28 (Rupert, Maxwell Lewis, maybe even GG if he's still there). Plan B =...

Aren't we in a cap position this summer where we could trade for Luka without having to send back matching salaries? Seems like a great opportunity to send over 1 or 2 decent but non-core players and a bunch of draft capital to tee up our win-now push (assuming Dallas was crazy enough to do it).
