Only way getting Lauri makes sense for the Sixers is if they have the gift of foresight and can see that Embiid will be fully healthy for a playoff run.
He's never going to be any of those things (dribble/shoot/passing). His swing skill is playing good defense. That's it. If he can do that, he might be able to be a 3rd string center in the NBA that gets regular season minutes. But that's going to be hard to do because he's about as good at rim...

Im not overly concerned about the young players looking good/bad. The jewel is going to be who we pick. I just hope Ace looks like a starter and Flip continues to grow. I'm not going to stress if Keyonte/Brice/Cody/Hendricks all end up being mediocre.
I think Cody will be better, and maybe you could argue the difference is the "largest" but I dont think Cody will be a legit rotation player next season. I think Flip will actually establish himself as a legit NBA rotation guy, and that's a big step because no one besides Walker can really claim...
