an average player that they can use to give minutes to who won't guarantee wins like the high talent draft picks? as for why it is multi year, the tank supposedly is a multi year tank, isn't it? also the later years might be non guaranteed if the tank stops. they kind of did the same thing...

peeps have said that the league doesn't care about tanking. the entire reason that the percentages for moving up are what they are is because of tanking. that alone means that they do care. also, way to man that anti tank gun Key.....

i wonder if this is kind of like us trading away gobert. gobert is the nba's elite rim defender, but there are things that he doesn't do that he needs to be able to do in order to win a championship. maybe luca's the same, and the mav's knew it.

that's the point. because they would get in each other's way they would be forced to expand their shot in spite of it not being worth more points. too crowded in the paint? shoot from further out. and again, you would never know where that shot would come from because there wouldn't be a set...

yes. the advantage to the '3' type shot should be better spacing in the paint, not more actual points. the shot would still go further out to, again, get better spacing but it wouldn't be worshipped by teams like it is now. also, if the line is gone, you never know where they would shoot from...
