Still would've thought he had more value coming into the off-season, but after the Sexton trade I am fine.
Happy the JCs and Sexton have been set free and we can focus on the youth movement + Lauri
I could see this being an agreement that Jazz FO made with the league. The transition was rocky, so we get the good will of offering to have Omar Cooper Jr around and the league takes the heat for helping push the Coopers further away. They agree to be the bad guy and we go 'oh man, sorry Ace...
Ace has made himself a lot of haters, many view him as a primadonna and want to see him fail. Moreso than the usual hateful Internet.
Hope he finds a way to block it out and get to work, because if he doesn't there will be a lot of negativity around everything he does for at least his first year.
Cody was by no means perfect tonight, but I like a lot of what I saw.
I am going to try and bring a lot of confidence towards the season for him. Curious how long of a leash he will get this year.
I am not even recognizing Sensabaugh at times tonight, he is looking slim and fast. I could really see him being the one piece from that draft class that stays around long-term, which I would have to eat crow on because I was super negative about him the first 1.5 years

My basic tiers. I feel Utah is in a great spot. There are always surprise risers and fallers, but we have the inside track for the worst record in the West.
Tier 1: Surprised if they don't have top lottery odds:
Utah, Brooklyn
Tier 2: Probably still bad but a little friskier:
Washington...
So we were converting our top 4 protected 2027 Lakers pick to a swap so that we can open up 2026 to trade? I mean it'd be hard to say no from the Jazz.
We gotta get off the churn carousel at some point, and Kessler would be great to have at that point, but if the Lakers are desperate then...
I have read it other places, it is funny seeing the number of people talking about the Pacers doing a one year tank. The team that has never tanked and takes pride in that is not going to do it the very year after a game 7 finals run, even if Hali is injured and they lost Turner
