I would still say it's Deron Williams. There was a lot of hype for Deron at the time but some fans were disappointed when they passed on CP3.
Maybe Ace has a bit higher ceiling but Deron definitely had the higher floor as a prospect.
Key for Black.
I still think Orlando might be the best landing spot for Key. Black wasn't getting many minutes last season but now they've added Bane to go along with Suggs. They could use someone cheap off the bench to replace Cole. Maybe Jazz can throw in 1-2 SRPs to get it done.
Honestly I think the ceiling for Ace is higher but it's going to take a lot of work and even luck to get there. The floor for Harper is obviously much higher.
The Clippers could use both Collins and Sexton. It's a tough salary match with them especially for the Collins salary. They also lack draft capital. Their HC Ty Lue was in the draft room when the Cavs selected Sexton so they are a team along with Bickerstaff in Detroit that usually comes up...
WCJ was born, raised, and went to college in Florida. It's only natural he would want to play there professionally especially if the Heat were showing genuine interest.
It kinda confirms what Sarah Todd already stated in her article this morning. Not exactly a vote of confidence for Key or any of the rooks or second year players. I'm just happy they are being proactive in picking BPA on their board regardless of who is already on the roster.
Assuming this actually goes down they would be on the hook to pay Lauri + Jaylen near $435 mil over the next four years for basically a #2 and #3 option. Neither which are primary ballhandler types. Add in the $150 mil extension they will likely need to pay Kessler. Not sure if that type of...
If AA wants to reset I would likely do that over giving Kessler a $150+ mil extension. Resetting the timeline might be the best option after the last two drafts tbh.
Stealing this idea from KqWIN but this might be a good time to call Orlando. After the Bane trade they will be creeping into 2nd apron territory beginning next season. The Jazz can save them $3.6 mil (+ tax penalties) by trading Keyonte for Anthony Black who might not have much of a role on...
