Kon is really good in pnr. Also looks like he’s a pretty nifty passer once he gets into the second level of the defense. Idk that he ever becomes a strong finisher at the hoop but he’s pretty crafty.

He looks better but I think Andy Larsen put it well when he said he scores out of close outs and rotating weakside defense. He’s not a good pnr player nor is he a good one on one guy. Right now he’s a role player but it looks like he might be a viable one if he continues to improve and add weight.

It could if he was a pnr wizard like Ingles. But yeah…

He’s a 6’8” wing with decent athleticism and length. Guys like that should be able to make an impact over their career. Scary thing is tho that it seems like the mousey, timid ones never pan out.

    Ace Bailey ROY watch

Flagg kind of has the LeBron thing going on where he has a sloppy handle but it doesn’t really matter cuz he overpowers smaller players and blows by bigger players. Can also see why a guy like Carter Bryant can give him some trouble.

seems like it’s been a talking point for A Very Long Time that to achieve parity in the nba, you need unlimited max salary + hard cap. Feels like super max + second apron is sort of achieving that goal.

World is our oyster. Next years starting 5 will have Walt, Ace, Lauri, Kessler and whomever we pick. Nice thing is you can swap Ace and Lauri around positionally and draft any of Dybantsa, Peterson, or Boozer.

    The Climate Change Thread

Renewables are great for electricity and capacity has exploded. Honestly so much so that I think subsidies should be directed to storage in order to solve the intermittency problem. Until intermittency is resolved, fossil fuels are going to be used in droves to stabilize the grid. Especially...

I tend to agree but the economic engine roars on. Climate change and the use of fossil fuels has not caused more economic detriment than it creates. Our entire society is girded up by fossil fuels. We will continue to use them until something cheaper comes along or the negative externalities...

Agreed. Half of the population on earth is supported by the fertilizer used to grow food that was created by the haber bosch process which is reliant on enormous amounts of natural gas.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

I like San Antonio. Super old city that you really don’t find outside the east coast. Like it’s not Paris but it has a ton of history being the oldest city west of the Mississippi. I think the Mexican culture and nightlife are really underrated there. Hill country is not far and I’ve enjoyed the...
