Nobody thinks it’s franchise altering. It’s a bad trade though. We can all agree on that. We just paid a second plus Sexton for a guy the Suns paid a first to get off of barely 4 months ago.

Yeah, if we called up asking for a straight swap and they talked us into giving them a second we lost that negotiation.

Unless there is a bigger deal happening this is the worst trade we’ve done since the Favors salary dump.

Positives about the deal: - Jazz made the team worse to help the tank again next year - Hornets got better and they are one of the teams that could have been in the tank race - Austin Ainge isn’t worried about winning every deal to the detriment of the team

It’s a good second too. The better of the Jazz/Clippers in 2030.

We really salary dumped an expiring salary for another expiring salary and we had to send out a second-round pick for the worse player? This is horrendous.

When your "business partner" tells you he’s getting you to Washington or Brooklyn I’m sure he was a little surprised to say the least.

The most ironic thing of this all is if Omar Cooper wasn’t involved with Ace Bailey he likely wouldn’t have fell to 5 and the Utah Jazz wouldn’t have been able to draft him.
