Austin saying this was best case scenario is awesome. Such a stark contrast from saying Taylor Hendricks was 9th on our board and we drafted him 9th lol. Ace was likely 3rd on our board if I put all of the pieces together.

The price to move up is the least of my worries tbh. Miami promised him at 20. We needed to jump them to get him. We must really like him.

I agree with everything except your feelings on him. I think he’s someone who could take a mini leap as the #1 guy. We will find out if I’m right on that one way or the other.

The biggest thing it’s it’s too early but I do have to say if it was just 5 as the main draft capital (likely wouldn’t be just that) then it would make it more enticing because we’d have plenty of other firsts to use to upgrade the roster.

I’m not sure it’s here as much but other sentiment around Jazz fans (twitter) is more so about the player itself.
