I expect we’ll do something with the vets. Get some seconds or whatever from facilitating trades or buy them out. Once they are gone we will pretend like we didn’t have people dying on a hill to defend their minutes and acting like we cannot develop without them.

If he stinks the rest of the season, it might be like trading for Lauri just before this season. I don't know how you'd plan to fill out the rest of the roster, but if he's truly gettable and MEM wants to start over I think you get him and think about the rest later. Way better than the Zion...

Amen is very good and a positive contributor on offense, but he is still an inefficient scorer who cannot provide spacing. I don't think he shows much hope of being a shooter either. Mobley and Chet are two DPOY level players who have shown more offensive chops.

It's half the game. DD is overrated though and probably does not deserve to be on this list.

There are plenty two way players on this list and some that are better on both offense and defense ranked lower than him.
