it will be interesting to see if Bidunga can play himself into the back end of the lottery. he's added solid production this year to his elite length and athleticism.

overall, carr had a good game and it's hard not to be impressed with him. didn't attempt a three. i really want him to be good - it's a fun archetype.

Carr struggling to create his own shot today. 14 points on 13 shots and just looked terrible in trying to force one going one on two in transition while he had an open teammate standing at the three point line. He has elite length and athleticism and he plays relatively hard and that will take...

    The Lauri Thread

i feel like this is a response to me. if so, i think you missed the point. i even said it might have just been bad two game stretch. the point is, he is being asked to carry a huge load, and it shouldn't be shocking if he gets worn down and the numbers come down drastically. i'm also not...

    The Lauri Thread

is there a sell high aspect to Lauri? last night's game got me a tad paranoid in the sense that i can see him getting tired and his numbers tanking at some point in the season. perhaps not now, maybe it's just a couple down games (scored just 19 vs okc - an efficient 19, but just 8 shot...

i've always liked tounde, but he's 3-15 shooting on the season. 1 of his last 10. if you're 6'5" and can't shoot the three, the league is tough. granted, it's early in the season, very small sample (even Steph has had 1-10 stretches), but it's something to watch that could cause him to slip...

eh, give yourself a break. framer needs to suck it up. it's easy to bitch about a guy who when he comes in, it is literally like playing 4 on 5 on the offensive side of the ball. as long as he's playing meaningful minutes and taking minutes from other deserving players (who will also help...

lauri should have given it up to key. he felt good, but that isn't his game.

Wagler didn’t look like a 1st rd prospect to me when I watched him against Bama. Looks like a dude who will be a very good 4 year player at the highest level of cbb. But that’s one game - the 5th of his career, so probably pretty dumb of me to even go there.

Sucks to open this thread and rather than find discussion about prospects- which, ftr, JF does better than any board I’ve found- it’s two straight pages talking Sam effing Presti. I get it, it’s a message board - tangents happen. Just hope it ends soon.

Which of the Jazz's young players are most likely to be on the team in 3 years?

Hendricks looked like the worst player on the floor today for the Stars. You never want to jump to too many conclusions based on one game, especially for a young player coming back from injury, but the thing that concerns me is that it wasn’t a surprise. I think he’s just not that good. I’m...

Cody Williams Hype and Appreciation Thread

Cody’s shooting splits this season: 32/11/33. His PER is 2. No typos. Cy said in another thread not even people who didn’t like him as a prospect thought he’d be THIS bad. I can confirm that is true. I don’t know if there has ever been an NBA player who has been this bad. It is true I...

I agree, but Hardy IS going to play those guys. It’s a pipe dream to think otherwise. Just isn’t reality. And frankly they deserve to be out there. I’d be fine if they never played a minute, but I understand why they do play. Last night (and the last few games) it was Cody who subbed in...

Cody Williams Hype and Appreciation Thread

The thing people are missing is that there is no danger of beating OKC. Or LAL. Or Houston. He doesn’t need to play one minute in those games and the tank will soldier on. Develop guys who want and deserve to be on the court.
