Hardy isn’t the guy for this job. It isn’t working

I didnt really respond to the Brice part, but you are just proving what I said there. Brice was hot in few games and got good burn, but then he played like trash and got his minutes cut down. In the Phoenix game you referenced Brice got subbed in midway through first quarter as he did in games...

Hardy isn’t the guy for this job. It isn’t working

Lmao. Using efficiency as an argument against him? REALLY? Svi is playing a low usage spacing role with a TS of 61.1 despite a very difficult shot diet. He has the best FG% and 3P% of all the starters despite being mostly an off ball spacer and outlet who gets all kinds of trash grenades...

He isnt supposed to be a guy who can lead a team in playoffs at age 22. There are very few prospects that come to the league so mature/skilled that they would be even remotely capable of doing that. So please give the guy some benefit of doubt, since he has given us clear evidence of mental growth.

Jackpotting Around - Episode 50 Tankxiety and the Trade Machine

Saying those who wish for Ws not thinking past single games is just the most arrogant BS ever. There are people who are super super casual and/or dumb enough to not realize there is a draft and that we may forfeit our pick.... but that is a small minority of people. Most fans ARE passionate and...

I wouldnt use such a small sample for confirmation bias when the big sample is still positive. I think what this game did was provide a small bit of evidence as to why you dont want to play trash basketball if you wanna develop your best prospects the correct way. As professional as Key has...

Lakers 2027 First Rounder: Projecting Lakers Team Building w/Luka

I agree on a principal level, but the list of such franchizes is rather short. For me its Lakers, Celtics, Knicks and Heat. I trust how those franchizes are ran, and their "market appeal" combined with the quality of operations is a combination you cannot beat in this regard. GSW should be on...

Hardy isn’t the guy for this job. It isn’t working

Give me a break. His system is 100% obvious and he even tells it to media. Play well and do the right things, and you get minutes. Its not rocket science. He even micromanages the youth minutes within games based on how the kids play. He gave WCJ 29 minutes and TH 24 minutes last game, when...

If Lottery Rigging Exist, Aren't the Jazz Safe?

Yeah if they rig all the drafts, then why give Minny two #1 picks in just few years? If you rig just selected ones like the Wemby draft, then why the hell would they be so dumb to send him to SA instead of Rockets or Mavs who were BOTH in that lottery.

If Lottery Rigging Exist, Aren't the Jazz Safe?

The Spurs part is something that makes absolutely no sense in these conspiracy things. The NBA wanting to set up the 3rd biggest franchize in a state where 80% of the population is white/hispanic is hilarious. And also San Antonio is a bottom 10 market by all metrics, whether its merch sales...

If Lottery Rigging Exist, Aren't the Jazz Safe?

The whole lottery rigging concept is fun and all, but its not real. Enst & Young is a 50 Billion dollar law firm, which would either look incompetent or fraudlent if the lottery turned out to be rigged, two things they cant afford to look. There is 0% chance that Silver can outsmart them or pay...

Wasnt able to watch the game so I cant really comment on it. I mean I was literally sitting there with the game running in front of me, just wasnt able to actually watch it after about 5 minutes of action that included Nurkic being the featured guy with 50% usage.

    GIANNIS

In a hypothetical metaverse where Giannis is fairly auctioned and would be happy to go anywhere, you throw them Ace, Kessler and a bag of draft picks without blinking twice. Key, Lauri and Giannis complement each other so well that they would instantly become the best big 3 in the NBA right...

    GIANNIS

I dont think its gonna be a bidding war, and neither does Windhorst. Its probably gonna be like the KD trade, where he dont hear much until the bombshell drops.

    Too good to tank?

I agree and definitely see the extra incentive we have for not finishing 9th or 10th (as thats a bad apple from every perspective). What I dont really co-sign is what fish said about us "losing a Key/Kessler" if that happens. Thats terrible cherry picking when the actual 9th and 10th guys we...

    Too good to tank?

What you say makes perfect sense. The dropoff from 8 to nothing is a big drop, and when the team starts to climb the ladder we can only dream of getting 8th pick quality guys. I'm also 100% positive that if we are balancing on that border come trade deadline they will make impactful moves as...

    GIANNIS

They won a chip without Giannis, are looking like a juggernaut as currently constructed, and cant fit his salary in without breaking their future core (would be forced at least after Chet/Jalen extensions come on the table). I dont think Presti is in the race.

I think he has a fun retirement gig and is maybe being groomed for future coaching positions... so there may be method to this madness that isnt related to on-court workload. So playing for us is a cooloff/transition job for him.
  18. HermanG

    Too good to tank?

Actually that may not be worse. I dont know if there is a precedence for this so not 100% sure how it would work... but swap rights can be traded forward and we can also trade our pick back... so we would actually be able to recover value possibly even in two different ways if that happened...

    Too good to tank?

Yeah thats probably something you can balance with a bit. I personally feel like we are in the business of separating treasure from trash and discarding trash is worth at least whatever the opportunity cost is for not discarding trash. I feel a bit hyperbolic about some of the young guys...

    Too good to tank?

But isnt that also "anti-developing" when it comes to Key and Ace? Playing them with worse players (especially when they are Cody level worse) feels detrimental to them. Like what are good/bad habits all about? For me its always been about "playing the right way", and that usually correlates...
