Cody Williams Hype and Appreciation Thread

True, although he’s been getting more minutes than TH or WCJ so I assume that Hardy either sees something or is looking for something. Looks pretty lackluster from my perspective even in the box score.

I agree about the confidence thing. Nobody in the NBA misses that many open shots if they’re confident.

That’s funny cause the big knock against him is too slow and unathletic. Basically the same height within thirty pounds or so. A guy that’s made a name and a nickname for himself over eleven seasons with the same deficits sounds like a perfect mentor/model to me.

Cody is like Kyle Anderson without the craftiness and confidence. Last chance but he continues to get minutes and hopefully he’s getting that kind of mentoring cause Slo Mo 2.0 has a certain ring to it.

If we’re seriously trying to win right now, we’re gonna need another center. Our two non-rim protectors are both a cut below the rest of the team.

A travel and a charge on Luka to start the game and now a reversal on the foul against Lebron. Is this the NBA? I’m sitting here wondering what alternate universe I must be in and then it hit me - all the game fixing gambling stuff going on lately. And now that I think about it, the events of...

Lauri looks like the best player on the floor tonight!

Comments from the Bulls' forums-"Nice job putting a 6'5 guy on 7 foot Lauri....I bet they didnt see that coming"

Lauri could make a contender a champion for real. Imagine if the Nuggets traded Cam Johnson (plus picks and other stuff) for Lauri warriors didnt want to trade podorski for markannen? Wtf Someone get Lauri into the playoffs. Please lol. Markkanen actually playing at an elite level. Deserving...

    Ace Bailey ROY watch

Very excited about Ace this season. If he continues to have nights like last night with his athleticism and poise, ROY is definitely a possibility imo. I say possibility because it’s such a strong field this year and Ace still has some catching up to do with VJ, Kon and Flagg particularly.

Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

Yeah, I guess he kinda mailed in Summer League. He looks like the kind of guy that enjoys the offseason and he was probably chagrined after last season that he even had to participate in it. Can’t say as I blame him really. I’ve brought this up before, but he was the numero uno recruit in the...

Quotes from Pacers' forums-"If giving up 152 points to the Jazz ain't rock bottom, then I don't know what is"

Kinda feel for their fan base. As dominant as this team was last season losing just a total of four games getting to the finals and then taking the juggernaut OKC to seven games and now this, almost incomprehensible. Really shows what a fine line there is between winning and losing in the NBA...

Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

Agreed but it’s not just his passing ability, it’s the fact that he’s actually out there looking to be a facilitator. He’s pass first which is maybe a bit unique in today’s NBA but not a detriment as his quickness and muscular frame allows him to penetrate and finish at the rim at a level seldom...

Collier two for two and five assists in 8 1/2 minutes, meanwhile he’s being lumped in with Williams and Hendricks as guys that aren’t good enough.
