Jazz might have enough scorers with Key, Ace, Lauri and Walker at the rim. Plus they'll draft somebody. At some point, they're going to add complementary guys who bring toughness and defense.
I somewhat agree. I think you could probably say that Ament is in the same tier as Ace was last year. They play differently and it's not a direct comparison, but in terms of tier based on their early play as freshmen they might be comparable.
Last year, both Kon and Tre Johnson were knockdown...
I would say no, because AJ is more polished off the dribble and can get into the paint far more easily. Both players are works in progress in terms of shooting/scoring.
First of all, you can have both. Keyonte is already moving off the ball for Isaiah Collier and WCJ with the bench units, and he's thriving playing off the catch. Having him share possessions with Brown won't hold him back. It'll free him up.
Second of all, Brown is probably BPA once you get to...
Mikel Brown is worth drafting if you're the Jazz, imo. He can be the primary ball handler and move Keyonte into a secondary creator role when they're on the floor together. Physically if he can fill out a bit in a year or two and make the effort, he should be able to guard 1 - 3, a bit similar...
I think the idea behind bringing in guys like Nurkic, Anderson, Niang and Love is that it creates a supportive environment for the young guys to develop in. These guys are good locker-room guys and ball movers. They're content to let the young kids play a leading role. They bring stability...
Cenac should be able to have a 2-way impact at the 4/5. He’s super young and his skill development is pretty theoretical, but the physical tools and flashes are probably enough to get him in the top 10.
He’ll likely play at the 5 better than Hendricks. He’s more natural and athletic at 235 lbs...
Ament might turn out pretty close to the guys in the top 4. His game has some nice pieces in place, and his body is just starting to develop.
He’s probably a lock to go top 6 when it’s said and done.
I'm starting to believe in Ament as a decision-maker and ball-mover. There's some on-ball potential there. Ironically, it's his shooting so far that's been subpar.

With OKC about to win 70+ games this year and draft with the Clippers' pick unprotected, the league will make sure the Thunder don't get the Jazz's pick as well.
Simple prediction.
His passing and decision-making are there. He should be good with NBA space due to his combination of size and skill. His slow feet do hold him back on defense though.
I'd be okay with Karim Lopez as a backstop pick at #7 or #8. I think he's skilled enough to be an initiator if the Jazz can give him space, even if his feet are a bit slow. He has some similarities to a young Deni Avdija, imo, especially if he can show more handle.
