Funny how once upon a time the LAL 27 #1 was one of the most coveted draft assets. There’s a clear lesson here. Future FRPs from select franchises aren’t worth a damn. They simply have the $ to ensure they won’t suck in seasons where they don’t control their own draft.

You could talk me into any one of 4 guys at #1 this year. Boozer and Wilson have been remarkable. I think the bottom 5 may be unstoppable in the tank race this year but I really do hope we put ourselves in that mix. These guys all look like franchise cornerstones at this point.

I like TGF for a SL roster spot / camp invite. He'll give you no offense but he could slot in as a top-flight perimeter defender immediately. 6'5, 6'11 wingspan, LIVE athlete and a bulldog.

Labaron Philon has some serious balls. Seems to play best in big moments. WCJ-esque. Old as ****, though. 20 years old. Gross.

Yeah, he’s got no business on an NBA floor at this point. G League him for the rest of the season, see if he can adopt a more aggressive mentality. Realistically he looks like an overseas role player.

Cody is an empty vessel. Nothing burger. Non-factor. Not sure I’ve ever seen a less effective player at any level.

Agree with this. He moves really well without the ball. Instinctive cutter + spacer of the floor. He is a gifted and instinctive offensive player.

Ace looks awesome. No chucker instinct on display and his shot looks like butter. His ability to free himself up / create space to get shots off really pops. We've got a few "score-first" minded guys but with the right usage rate he's a 25ppg guy and a super tough cover.
