He likely meant that they are fielding calls from teams that are trying to move up to 4 or 5, not that the Jazz and Hornets are trying to move up.

I really think either Tre or Fears is going to be the pick and I honestly have no idea which one. I will say, if we take Fears with Tre and Ace still on the board that is going to be a very tough pill to swallow.

My guess is the timing is just a coincidence. I doubt he gets moved tonight.

Shams was on ESPN and said the Celtics would prefer to keep both Brown and White and it would take an offer that absolutely blows them away to think about moving either one. Jake Fischer also said he doesn't think Boston will move them.

Call me crazy but I would absolutely love to add a 28 year old finals MVP to our roster.

Well...I'm officially terrified now. Preparing myself for a major letdown tomorrow.

I'm really hoping Fears is the Wizards guy and the Jazz are just putting all this smoke out there in order to move down from 5 to 6 and collect a couple of second round picks or something from the Wiz and then they can take their guy (hopefully Tre) at 6. I swear though, if we lost 65 games...

He and Jeremy Woo both have us taking Fears with both Tre and Ace still on the board.

Have to take a swing on Ace despite the concerns. The Jazz desperately need to add talent to the roster and Ace is the most talented of this group.

It’s hard for me to imagine a more disappointing outcome on draft night than taking Maluach. Even if we end up trading Kessler I still wouldn’t take him at 5.
