I don't know what the exact mix is, but the idea that playing vets has no benefit to the development of young players (even if their minutes are lessened because of it) is wild.

The 4 and 5 play really different roles on the Jazz. I would guess Hardy wants to keep Hendricks role consistent so he can learn how to succeed in the role that will be necessary to be a NBA player. He does not rim protect, rebound, or screen well enough to be a 5.

Yeah, the plan seems to be rest Lauri vs some of the bad teams in the NBA and that's a great time for the young players to play. Against playoff teams I think they are getting enough minutes to develop in low/medium doses. The season is a marathon and they will get plenty of minutes
Hendricks has had a nice feel for attacking closeouts this season. But you can really tell the injury still affecting him. That would have been a strong dunk before the injury. Now it looks super awkward when he goes to gather to jump
