He's a much better player that I actually care for him now, so he really has to cut the 3 to when he's open and in rhythm and focus on driving to the rim, making layups, getting fouled (and to the line) and that passing that's becoming sweet. The 3 point shot just isn't there right now.

If Ace clicks this season OKC might get that pick.

Nurkic deffo can't jump and move as he used before his injury, but the difference in strength is visible between him and Kessler. I can understand the idea of Kessler not putting a ton of weight, but that's a point for him to get better, both in his defense and his screening.

Also feels that the way the Kings been applying pressure to our ballhandlers forced us out of the big man passing not just from Kessler, but also Flip and Lauri (at least as a primary source of playmaking). Thankfully we're showing capacity to adapt on that.

Yeah, he seems to be doing a bunch of things much better this year. Draining the threes ain't them so far. Maybe he'll need to take down a notch how agressive he is with outside shooting.

    No Extension for Walker Kessler?

If you look at the price range that current level of contracts that Gobert (still very impactful, but far removed from his peak at 33yo and declining), Jarrett Allen and Hartenstein recently signed (not all in this postseason, but close), I would expect the Floor for the negotiations being...

We should be winning around the same games as last season, but the games should be waaaaay more watchable, like actual basketball reasons to turn on the tv rather than self torture.

Who knows if he has some dirty on Hardy or some of the higher ups in the organization. Maybe Pablo Torre can shed some light on that.

Which Young Player Will Have the Largest Improvement Next Season?

I don't see a reason to fight the notion that Brice is a negative defender, but I'd say for his role he's given a much better return on offense for the cost of his defense than Keyonte has done so far.

Game Thread Oct 13, 2025 07:00PM MT: Dallas Mavericks @ Utah Jazz (Preseason)

The game was far from pretty, but It was still somewhat enjoyable seeing the young guys in their figure out what to do and don't. If the season plays out more like this (and less like Svi, Kyle and Love soaking up minutes regardless of how they play), then It could be more interesting to follow...

Good thing is our goal of losing games should run smoothly Or clanky

What does an improved Keyonte look like?

I try not to be negative, but his struggles been real, then my expectations really been low on him Maybe start looking more like good Jordan Clarkson instead of bad Jordan Clarkson ?

    No Extension for Walker Kessler?

Dunno, I'm always skeptical of Utah Jazz and FA market. But maybe cap space in that sense could help the Jazz trade some player(s) into cap space and then later sign Kessler going over the cap ? Still feels a strange plan to me.

Lauri for George rumors heating up.

Yeah, that's right. A deal wouldn't make sense for the Jazz without one of them. Still should be a quite good team even in Embiid absence (and potentialy special in his presence). Still is a "is it worthy for the Sixers to mortgage whatever future assets they still have for betting on Embiid's...

Lauri for George rumors heating up.

They do have Maxey, hit a gem in McCain and got VJ (outside of other decent role players). It's hard to say whether there's anything left in Embiid knees, but I think that by getting Lauri, the Sixers could lessen the burden on Embiid. Both in terms of not needing to force himself to play...
