Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

For my 4th pick, I'll take: Derrick White ($28,100,000) He's a great, well-rounded player that could fit anywhere. My salary cap situation is starting to look a bit dicey, but uh...we'll figure that out later. Current Depth Chart PG - White SG SF - Murphy PF - Giannis Center - JJJ Current...

I was wondering how long he'd stay available. If he fell to my 4th pick I was just going to take him and figure out the rest with small contracts, haha.

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

For my third pick, I'll take Trey Murphy III ($25,000,000) Maybe a reach here, but the price is pretty good and I think Trey is one of the best up-and-coming 3 and D guys in the league. Current Depth Chart PG SG SF - Murphy PF - Giannis Center - JJJ Current Salary - 115 mil

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

Thought about switching it up, but I still like grabbing a big man with defense and 3P shooting, especially with Giannis first pick. Jaren Jackson Jr ($35,000,000)

Yeah this all fairly new to me, heh. Edwards is a great pick up.

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

Thanks for the tag @David Hume . In the redraft, I'll stick with my previous pick: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($54,126,450)

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

Personally I'd keep the rules that we started with (although I agree that 225 would've been a more interesting number to work with). Maybe a compromise could be incorporating an apron system? 290 is the hard cap, 260 is the second apron threshold, and 225 is the first apron threshold. Then do a...

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

My next pick will be someone I drafted in the all-time draft: Jaren Jackson Jr ($35,000,000) I just like the versatility of a big man who stretches the floor, scores, and defends.

Welcome to the first ever Jazzfanz salary cap draft Current Draft addition.

Thanks for the tag. I'll take: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($54,126,450) I would have loved to start off with less of a cap hit, but I felt like passing on a top 5 player in the first round would come back to bite me. I also love that Giannis is a two-way player.

2025 annual Jazzfanz all time NBA draft conference finals. Teams 6, 10, 13.

Team 6 is great (all the teams at this point are great, of course). But I just favor the balance of defense and offense on the other two teams. It feels like team 6 is leaning heavily on Bill Russell to carry the defense.

    Post your favorite Jazz Highlights.

Obviously we always remember Kirilenko's defense, but he has some of my favorite assist highlights of all time too.

2025 Jazzfanz all time draft competition vote teams 7-13

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can we vote for our own team if we think it would be one of the best?

Also Paul George, which is how they got SGA. That trade kinda mirrors what happened with the Mitchell trade for Lauri, but while Lauri blossomed into an all-star, SGA blossomed into an MVP-caliber player.

"book long" lmao Thought you wanted to talk about OKC as a blueprint like the rest of us and not just repeat how much you hate Keyonte over and over.

    OKC as a blueprint

So you didn't even read my post I guess? Giddey was there 3 years. Tre Mann was there 2.5 years (it's right there in the part you quoted). Poku was there freaking 5 years. And Dillon Jones was someone they traded 5 2nd round picks for and then, yes, decided to move him along after a year...

    OKC as a blueprint

Who are all these first-rounders (meaning guaranteed contracts) that OKC abandoned before year 3. Let's go back a decade and look at first round picks that the Thunder didn't hold onto. Josh Huestis? 3 years. Cameron Payne? 3 years. Terrance Ferguson? 3 years. Darius Bazley? 5 years. Josh...

OKC traded for SGA. And the Pacers traded for Siakam and Haliburton.
