That is fine. I have been saying all along the picks would likely be in the 20's. Next year we get to root for it to be in the early 20's rather than late 20's. This league is full of a lot of really good players taken in the 20's.
The best part about this years Minny run is that we can enjoy it because we don't have to worry about their pick. Next year will feel a little different.
They are which is why the wolves are so dangerous with Reid and NAW providing consistent production. The nugs could be in real trouble without bench production against such a complete wolves team.
He is definitely an intriguing player with his blend of size, athleticism and skillset. In most mocks he is around 15 but it wouldn't surprise me to see him go in the top 10 after he works out for teams.
I would be surprised if they don't run it back. They should see some nice internal growth from Jovic and Jaquez. In the draft their track is pretty damn good at hitting on guys where they are picking this year. Devin Carter could be a solid plug and play option for them.
It should be a two year tank but I have zero trust in the front office to make that commitment right now. I'm scared to death that we try to go win now and get stuck in that middle ground with no legit star to take us over the top.
The state of the nba going forward is in such good hands with all these great young players. It is really enjoyable to see the old guard fall out early so these great younger players can get the attention. You look around everywhere and you see stars in their early to mid 20's leading their...
I wouldn't call him a no hope shooter. He shot 31% from 3 this year but started out the season horrible from 3 and gradually improved as the season went on.
October 16.7% but only 3 games
November 25.9%
December 33.3%
January 33.3%
February 37.5% but only 4 games
April 43.5% but only 8 games...
I think the problem is that if you aren't offering him the max or near the max he likely tests free agency and we can't afford to give much draft capital to risk a one year rental. I would probably give up our worst 2025 pick but that is about as far as I would go with how great Sexton was last...
I would be very hesitant in investing draft capital for Brandon Ingram. He has one year left on his contract and he will probably want a raise to agree to an extension and he is never healthy. He hasn't suffered a major injury in his career but he is always dealing with something. At some point...
