Seems most likely, although the Conley situation seems very possible. But recent trades came out of the blue: Hood for Crowder, Burks for Korver.

Something to consider... Duh the Jazz could have beaten that offer, but 1) didn't want to include assets for his deal and/or 2) have something else on the table that is more important (Conley, Mirotic?)

These types of comments solidify how underrated Favors is and what he provides for this team. Sure there's a case to be made that a stretch 4 could be a better fit (I'm skeptical defensively and about our backup C minutes), but to just be sick of a good, productive player on the team is selling...

Exactly though, you don't salary dump a player that is a positive asset. I believe the Jazz were with me on this, Faves and Thabo for Porter, no pick or asset.

Honestly Favors might have made them too good. They should try to be real real bad.

Sure if Jazz can't find a suitor in FA, they have set themselves up to retain a very good player in Favors and try again next offseason. The LOL is just trading him to trade him. Glad we don't have an impulsive FO.

Just doesn't see the floor much is the only reason I would think. I agree. I'd use the space to take on teams that want to drop 19/20 money and pick up some middling assets, if I were them.
