Cody was the only one playing defense in the last minutes of the second quarter. There is a lot to be unhappy with about Cody but he always gives the same quiet effort, regardless if it's the close game or the blow-out loss.
Just like the last game: Lauri is 10-18 and the rest of the Jazz are 9-29. For the 3-pointers it is 3-7 for Lauri and 1-13 for the rest.
If Lauri, God forbid, gets injured the Jazz may beat their W-L record of the last season.
It's also how generically he plays. Taylor physically looks adequate for his position. He is kinda being in the right place and kinda doing the right thing without any glaring mistakes. But in the end he is absolutely not impacting anything.
What I will be looking for in this game is how many minutes Lauri is going to play. Currently, he averages 37.4, being the second in the NBA in MPG. That is insane in general but is absolutely bonkers given both Lauri's history of breaking down after the pro-longed heavy usage and the fact that...
