lol, what? this entire thread is one big walter clayton love affair. i'm a huge fan, so i think that's great, but good grief this board f'n loves the dude.
i mean, look no further than the voting results.
It’s funny how fans have guys they like and don’t like as you read through the thread, if they don’t like the guy, so many comments about what they did wrong, basically crickets when they do good things.
he looked bad to me. i guess we all have our biases as we watch.
ultimately, if we forget about our biases and what we think we saw, he was inefficient, turned the ball over a ton and fouled a lot. he was also a -13
and i want to continue to qualify this with the fact i understand he's...
the fears love after a 4-11, 1-4, 7 turnover 6 foul "performance. fears might become the best guard in the history of the nba, but that game certainly wasn't indicative of anything special or even good for that matter. dude is only 18 so can get a lot better, but he NEEDs to get a lot...
"i don't watch the games"
so immediately disregard all your basketball opinions. that makes things easier. it's becoming much more clear why you "just don't see it with Ace". none of us would "see it" if we didn't watch the games.
yup. 9 ppg on 40/22 shooting. and he played three years in college so he was 21 at the time.
brandon miller: 15 and 7, but on 38/31 shooting splits. so many examples of really good players who struggled big time as rookies in summer league.
exactly how i feel about williams. nothing i'd love to be wrong on more - it would be crazy to have him and ace, two dudes with 7'1"+ wingspans at the wing both be really good.
that's as a second year player. and even in his good summer league game i think he had 0 rebounds.
either way, i agree - he's shown certain things that sorta give you a glimmer of hope of if you you're looking for it, but i'd like to see him step it up a bit in vegas.
