What are you most concerned about with the Jazz for the 25/26 season?

We’ve got the sixth worst record come lottery and three teams from behind us, who have no business getting high picks, jump us. One of the teams is the Lakers. This move takes us from 6th to 36th in the draft. Oh, wait, no. Nevermind. We wouldn’t have the 36th pick (the almost first rounder)...

    Oscar Tshiebwe is back

If you’re able to do one thing (talking >99th percentile), there’s a role for you. It may not be big but too often guys with one elite talent are very easy to keep on your roster when you find them because other teams aren’t beating down the door because they already have these lists of “why it...

John Stockton has sharp criticism of Jazz

Yep, and most may not recognize this until we’re well into being nowhere. Hindsight will prove we were ****ed over bad by DL and QS (who tarnished what could have been amazing legacies), but nothing may compare to disaster unfolding after DL and Quin held Ryan and Danny’s beers.

John Stockton has sharp criticism of Jazz

I don’t know that I can speak for Stockton, as it sounds like these excerpts were very limited comments that likely were much expanded on (relative to your question), but I’d assume it wouldn’t be too far off to say something like, if you’ve just had the best record in the league, maybe not...

    NBA 25/26 Schedule Released

Best part about this schedule is closing with the Lakers. Hopefully the standings are settled by then (for us, not them) and we can do a proper pounding.

Who would you guys rather have be on the Rudy/Donovan teams, Lauri or Hayward (simply from a basketball standpoint)? As to who’s better, we’ll have to see what Lauri’s post-retirement looks like because Gordon is already hitting up the podcasts.

    OKC as a blueprint

But if you don’t trade them, you might lose them in three years for nothing and then suck really bad for 7-8 years. We’re much better off with an assortment of late first rounders and irrelevant pick swaps because we suck more than the teams we could swap with.

    OKC as a blueprint

Over the past decade or more, I've often expressed frustration with the utilization of recency bias in terms of having a template on winning, where we look at whoever last won the championship, employing a survival bias, and declare that to be the new and/or only formula for winning in "today's...
