It seems to me that Utah and Salt Lake City could never have appealed to Donovan. He wants the people that look like him to be around him. Apparently 20,000 adoring fans (White, Black, Hispanic or otherwise) in the arena, and celebrity status in a place where he is nearly universally loved isn't...
There's definitely a "street cred" element to the Dunk Contest... But, my word, he has thrown down a bunch of epic dunks already this year. Never remember seeing this in Chicago or Cleveland. He'd be a better dunker than most of the guys that have been there recently. Is Hardy just unlocking him...
He's certainly shown early that he's our most dynamic scorer. I'd love to see him in the All-Star game too, but let's not overlook his dunking prowess. I'd never heard any buzz about him dunking before this year. He's been creative and powerful with his flushes. He's definitely Dunk Contest worthy!
Lauri is a bad, bad man. Let's build up the hype train and get this man in the Dunk Contest at this year's All-Star game! Let's document his filthy dunks in this thread.

Not that I totally disagree, but James Harden and Draymond Green come to mind for me. Luka is a total whiny b**** though. He absolutely knows that the refs are in his pocket, and he plays it up. It's frankly gross that so much talent is wasted on such a prick.

I'm so tired of watching the Jazz choke leads away. We're headed to the play-in tournament, and a loss there. We won't even have the dignity of having a real first round series.

This team has been reliably terrible and painful to watch for about 10-12 games. I haven't turned off this many games early since the Jazz traded Deron Williams. And, yes, I know that both Rudy and Donovan have missed time in that run, but the team has barely been competitive against teams even...
This team is becoming difficult to watch. I think we've reached the summit with what this squad was capable of. Morale is low, losses are piling up, the rebuild is about to start.

I've displayed a TON of negativity this series, but we all have to face the fact that this team was built to take on a team like the Lakers, the Bucks, or the Sixers. The NBA does not have another team with the versatility and 5-out ability that the Clippers have. This match-up was going to be...
Donovan is out there putting his heart on the floor and no one else is matching his intensity. Lazy hand-offs, bad passes, no close outs, terrible perimeter defense, hanging their heads as soon as LA shows life. We stopped breaking the paint and dictating our game. I cannot keep doing this year...
I thought the same, by that nature the callnhas to stand, no indisputable evidence to overturn the call. Watch the refs screw it up anyway.
