    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

We're playing a dangerous game with Markkanen, who doesn't appear to have much against yearly long vacations. I'd like to see him a little bit irked about his zero postseason experience. We don't know a thing about his playoff basketball, but we know we probably can get a nice package for him.

    Kessler's extension

So much up in the air depending on next 2 drafts... it could be a whole good or bad new world in no time. I'd be cautious about committing too much. Proably wise at the moment not going north of 21 or 22 per.

    Jazz Suns trade

Gosh I'm trying to calculate the odds I'm still breathing by 2031.

Walker Kessler Hype & Appreciation Thread

Jazz current offensive game is damn poor compared to Snyder's era offensive game. This little thing affect defensive ratings.

How many full games have you watched this season?

About 25 games. Not live. NBA-LP complete games edited without timeouts/halftimes.

Hard to argue with any of this at this point.

Collins & Kessler work well together this season -- Why?

Yes, Kessler is just another dude this season; there's clearly something else between his shoulders. I didn't expect it. Good for him, good to see.

    The Lauri Thread

Almost anyone is damned to mostly suck within the basketball ambient DA created. Lauri has become too good to just suck, but he certainly will have a setback season, with all that it implies for his future value... be it in a Jazz uni or not. The sooner we understand it, the sooner it will stop...

Paul Millsap retires after 16 years.

Superb jazzmen from an era where basketball, real work and grit were important. Jazz let him go for nothing...

According to sport-referecce.com, Collier was .338 career 3P% (27/80, 3 shots per game, 27 games). If he's able to evolve into an 36-37% dude, he could be a pretty nice player.

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Perhaps I didn't construct the idea the right way. The post was intended to refer that coaches sometimes envision something different that what is the better for a particular player in a particular environment. In that sense what Snyder did with Mitchell appears to me to be similar at what Hardy...

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

DM is a superb player every time he remembers basketball is a team sport. I don't think it was all on him that he forgot about it in his last seasons as a jazz player. Snyder was wrong to force hero ball with him, he almost impose a will for Mitchell to be a one on one player. I hope Hardy can...

    Rookie Contract Power Rankings

You're right of course. I was completely mistaken on TB. Just in case, I wasn't trying to imply in any way that George will have TB kind of career. Obviously KG is far more talented and has a chance to have a pretty nice NBA career. My only concern with KG is the way the Jazz is trying to use...

In a season with very few interesting trends to watch, this is such a big crap. Wish Taylor a full recovery.

We should have tanked harder. Lucky or not, picks would have been better assets. It's just a fact. And it's not like a wining culture has been set either. We know why we suck.

I agree on the team issues, but I suspect this is exactly an environment where there could be many players/coaches agendas. Anyway, I said franchise, not just team. Nothing they've done since DM/RG trades seems connected, at all.
