Gobert Not Happy About Going to Dleague?

Development and opportunity is key with any young player. I remember games early on where Rudy looked like a complete project. Hard work and perseverance got him here. It took Hayward 7 years to become an All star caliber player. If all goes well, Rudy will do it in 5. Huge. And he's still...

    Thabo Sefolosha DEFENSIVE ELITE FIRST.

Underrated thread. Our defense was the reason why we made the playoffs last year. Offensively, we were pretty bad. That said, I think we've improved in both areas. Sefolosha is an amazing wing defender. Rudy is an amazing shot blocker. Rubio is a top 5 pg defender and Hood has gotten better...

Utah Jazz Preseason Game #1 Sydney Kings at Utah Jazz Mon Oct 2, 7:00 pm

Rubio - Love! His court vision and decision making is tremendous. Something we've lacked the past few years at the point guard spot. His shot will come around as he gets comfortable with the new offense. Definitely a game changer. Hood - Our best scorer by far. I think 20 a game is realistic...

    Burks

This really doesn't deserve a reply but okay. He's explosive, great in transition, great at getting to the rim and good at getting to the line. Unfortunately, injuries come with the territory. In a faster, more uptempo style offense, Alec would be an absolute monster. He's also a pretty good...

    Burks

Alec at 100% will be huge for this year's squad. Rough couple of years but if he comes back strong, look out. Crazy how quickly some of our most talented players get written off. Injuries happen but he's young and oozing with talent. Hoping for the best for his sake and ours.

Irving/Hayward Press Conference - Hayward jabs at Jazz

Maybe. Boston fans are knowledgeable and incredibly obnoxious.

What Do You Think Donovan "A New Hope" Mitchell Is Going To Be?

Really really good pro with tons of upside. Tough, gritty, can score it and loves to compete. He'll be a fun one to watch. Still a rook though so he'll go on the roller coaster ride just like any other rook. Either way, I'm excited to see what he can be.

    Establishing our core

Gobert, Hood, and Rubio. It's established already.

    Hood ain't that good

This. Hood is a good player now with a chance to be great if he continues to develop. No different from any of our other young guys. He won't be year 7 Hayward good this year but he'll definitely make a huge jump. He's gotten better defensively and he's a lot more fluid than Hayward on offense...

Countdown to the Rubio/Gobert pick and roll being > the Stockton Malone pick and roll

Rudy should eat plenty. Rubio, Hood and Ingles are savvy offensive players. We should see a bunch of plays resulting in Rudy tearing the rim off of the backboard.

    Hood ain't that good

Health and consistency should be the only question marks going into the season for Hood. His catch and shoot numbers and off the bounce numbers are very solid. He's also been one of the most efficient scorers in pick and roll and iso situations the last couple of years. Fair to have...
