Oh c'mon, I am just joking around the analogy. It's obvious that had he been offered the job in Boston he would have taken it. But it doesn't mean that he is sleepless thinking about it. If he had left Boston to be an assistant coach somewhere else it would have been a different story. But he...
If there was a solid chance that you would get nervous on the first night and wouldn't be able to perform and the cheerleader would laugh at you in front of a whole school it could be a good analogy.
Is the contender with high expectations and a locker room full of egos necessarily best place for a rookie coach though? However smart he can be coaching Boston could mean as much a fast success as a failure at the beginning of the career.
I like that he started to set the offense more, earlier he was just bringing the ball up and mostly immediately passing to someone, he is more comfortable now with search dribble and waiting for the opportunity to make the right play.
I finally got to listen beginning with this episode. Really enjoyable, interesting and well presented. I have just one remark: in this episode you guys sounded quite different, Art was very clear and Chad sounded like "from another room". It's probably a difference in mics quality? Not a big...
Even if I understand the logic behind trading him if the offer is great it would really hurt to see him gone. He is easy to build around and seems like a perfect person for a market like Utah. I think we would look at it in future and say "if only we had Lauri 3 years earlier or later".
I enjoy watching Lauri and hate not seeing him involved enough. THT, Clarkson and Sexton flip a sort of love/hate switch which make them hate one game, love another.
